Dinner at Sizzler

Saturday - 27/09/08

I'm REEEEAAALLY bored....

And its gonna be the start of school again =(

Project assignment deadlines are approaching.
Midterm tests awaiting my feeble and desperate attempts, (as always huh?).
My impending doom is just round the corner.
Perhaps i should slow down the pace of entering "that corner"
and maybe, (well just maybe) i could even DRIFT through it - unscathed.
Alrights...i know. Too much F1 over this weekend.

Caught a glimpse of the F1 action on Friday night.
On my way to Suntec City, i HEARD the action.
Yes, your eyes aint playing tricks on you.

READ CAREFULLY

HEARD. not SAW.

Because the racers practically zoomed past in a FLASH
And i only caught a glimpse.
I saw more smoke than anything else.
And the sound of tyres screeching and zipping by were DEAFENING.
For once, i understood the real meaning of DEAFENING.
Sounds loud enough to cause your ear drums to ache.
It was so loud that the sounds resonate within Marina Square!!!
like....ROAR!!!!!

And i've got loads of pictures from dinner =)

Here they are!!!

Friday - 26/09/08

Sizzler...

We are the Birthday Boys! =)

Sam, Tommy, Me

Our Chocolate Cake =)
With our names on it as well.
So nice of the Kiehls people to celebrate for us!

And yeap, we were asked to make a wish.

And then we had to remove a candle each.

With our MOUTHS.

And here's Tommy doing his THANG.

Up next was Sam.

And being the last, i was kinda APPREHENSIVE.

*Shivers*

Scared they push my face into the cake!!!

Luckily they aint the sort who would waste a delicious chocolate cake! =)

And we each got our
HANDMADE AND PERSONALLY SIGNED
Birthday CARD! ^^

PRESENTS!!! =P

Haha...Sam's present is MULTI-WRAPPED!

Not there yet...another layer dude!

You are getting close...*patience* =)

He must be getting impatient, having to unwrap so many layers.

LOL ^^

Having our ice cream ^^

Sam, Me, Kevin, Terence

Group Photo!!! :)

After our hearty dinner, some of us went Bowling!
And we had a competition, as usual. ^^
Losers had to do a forfeit decided by the winners!

Aaahh...presenting to you....

THE LOSERS!!!

Alvin, William, Tommy, Kobe and Bernard

(You see the guy in the bottom right corner?)

Nothing much la...just that....

He's a winner ^^

Whahahahahahaha...

Awww....Don't they look cute?

Like Chi-hwa-hwa!!!

This is the perfected AH-Mei look!
(Think Taiwanese crooner...one of her poses for her album front.)

There! Look like right!!! ^^

And Kevin kindly demonstrated a one-hand push up
while he kissed the bowling ball =)

Everyone had to follow suit.
Quite obviously, 4 of them cheated.
(look at their hands)

so....

I GAVE THEM A FLYING KICK!

And we taught them a hard lesson - That cheating never pays!

BY SITTING ON THEM!

May and Chass dropped by to give Sam a B'day surprise!

And BOY! The cake was really a SURPRISE!

FISHCAKE also cake what.

-____-

2 round fishballs and 1 long fishcake.

What do they resemble? =)

Go think about it...hehe

And here's our group photos!

Combine the two pictures above and we got this Animated image!

GIF animations generator gifup.com

On our way home, we passed by the F1 race track.

And needless to say...we cam-whored! =)

Decided to take "Anti-Gravitational" pictures!

WAAH...Bernard and William succeeded with just ONE try!

Alvin and I lacked chemistry =(

I haven't even JUMPED!

And Alvin really looks "SUSPENDED" in this picture.

LOL

YAY! We succeeded too!

WE DEFIED GRAVITY!

WE ARE SUPERMEN!!!

And i DAMN DAMN DAMN love this picture!!!

What a wonderful evening!!! =)

Just before school starts again.

Well, at least, i had fun before dying.

*Birthday Treat*

Met up with Fish, Tay and Sam for dinner. Fish and Tay wanted to give us a treat for our B'day that's approaching. =)

Sam turns 22 on 27th September
Gary turns 22 on 30th September

And so, we made our way to Amici, an Italian Eatery located at Holland Village. It was a small, but really cozy place, and when we reached, we had to wait for our table due to the crowd. But it was only a 15 mins wait. We then went in, and decided on what to order while waiting for the TAY.

He was coming down from work.

At about 8.30pm, in walks an executive-looking dude.

It was TAY!

真的是 TAY!

We placed our orders and these are our main courses!
I can't recall the names, really. All in Italian.
So i din bother to take down the names. =)

Fish's Beef dish.
Award winning one k.
Beef cubes, or issit Beef balls?
But anyway, it was delicious, really tender.

This is Sam's Crayfish Pasta.
According to him...aint fantastic.
So next time you are at Amici,
You can probably give this a miss.
Coz the way Sam commented on it,
You'll know that Pasta Mania serves better Crayfish Pasta than this
And its definitely much cheaper. ^^

TAY's Beef steak =)
His was really nice.
Chef's recommendation on the menu.
But the portion's pretty small.

But like what Fish said, If u wanna eat a full meal at this place,
might as well go hawker centre eat MEE POK ADD NOODLE
Which Sam begs to differ, totally.
To me, i guess i'll stand nearer to Sam's side. ^^
Coz i believe can strike a balance between yummy food in appropriate portions.

Prime Rib
Yeah this is mine!
Looks yummy and the portion BIG-ass right?
Right mix of fatty and lean Beef.
The texture is, what people always say, Q.

And we ordered this Pizza to share.
Like all Italian pizzas, the crust is thin and crispy.
And we didn't expect that the toppings would be separated into different sections
Wasn't it supposed to be mixed equally? -___-
To me, the Pizza was so-so only. Not Fantastic leh.
But definitely better than Pizza Hut la =)

Sam had a discount card which offers 2 main course free with every 4 purchased. This card came along with a voucher for a free bottle of either red or white wine. And we chose Red wine =) did some catching up with each other and BOY!!! TAY did a SHOCKER to us!!!

TAY HAS A GF ALREADY!

The news came outta nowhere.
Fish was talking about some Cecelia in TAY's phone
and the conversation went like this...

Fish: Pretty anot, that Cecilia?

TAY: Yah...very pretty...she look like a Taiwanese

Me: WAH SEH!!! Taiwanese, i LIKE! =) INTRO LEH!!!

At this point...TAY starts to get uneasy...

TAY: Errr...actually Cecilia is my gf...*looking sheepish*

ALL of us: *STUNNED* + *JAW DROPPING WIDE OPEN*

TAY GOT GF ALREADY!!!!!!!!!

OMG...We really din expect this.

But really happy for him lah =)
Finally found his other half.
And a CHIO one at that! ^^
I also want a SIBEH CHIO GF!!!

Yah i know, sounds superficial.
But who doesn't? =)
Well...looks may not be everything la.
I tink end of the day, chemistry is very important.

BUT I DO WANT A SIBEH CHIO GF! ^^

(haha...okays...just ignore my ramblings la)

Meeting the Kiehls guys for dinner tonight.
At Suntec, Sizzler =)

Kudos to William! He even had the time to do this.
Wait till his Boss catches him slacking at work =)

Alrights...End of post.
Have a nice day everyone! ^^

Updates Updates Updates!

I've just finished watching Episode 4 of Gossip Girl - The Ex Files.

And....BOY!

Break-ups can never be amicable, can they?

There aint such a thing as an amicable break-up.

Even if initially it was a mutual agreement, and you thought everything would be fine with both parties finally being able to move on with their current lives, things would just start to take a turn for the worse at this point. Close friends of either party would start poking their noses into matters, taking things into their own hands, thinking that they know what's best for their friends. Just like how Blair tried to make life difficult for the new girl, Amanda.

Dan: Google revenge and you get BlairWaldorf.com.

(LOL...when Dan said that.)

Not forgetting that manipulative Chuck Bass. And i was starting to adore him before this episode. =(

But i still like his character lah ^^

Okays..on to happier things...

Peek-tures from Saturday (Phuture)

Sarah, Me, Cath, Sam

My face so red!!! And Sarah closed her eyes in this shot.

As you can see.

One HELL of a WILD NIGHT!

CAIXIA!!!
(and Cath, if you are reading this, your "chinese" name is in BOLD)

^______^

Yes...the one who made my cheeks sore!

She was damn tall lah on that night. Damn HEELS!

And the next day, we went to catch a play at the Singapore Repertory Theatre

BOOM

On our way to Central Mall for supper.

Had TS mid term paper the next day.
Can u believe it? First day of Recess Week!!! =(
I studied on the morning itself. Too tired to study.
Thankfully i've got nice friends who filled me in on what to study. =)
Heng....Tricia asked me about Plato's "imitation of an imitation"
And Cherlyn tell me wrong answer lah...the meaning of "Er-dunno-what-horizont"
She told me it was "the aesthetics of the audience response"
Its supposed to be...erm..i forgot what...just not "the aesthetics of the audience response"

But nvm lah...She was trying to help anyway. =)

I finished the test in 20 mins i think.

My paper was relatively easier than other groups.

So i should be happy i guess.

Went to K with Yuyang, XinLe, Angela and Tricia
At this Malaysia-like place in Katong, called TEO HENG
It really feels like Malaysia when we stepped into the building.
Like Holiday Plaza, the kind of aura that encapsulates the place.

Angela was damn high la.
All the emo songs that she sang
DON'T SOUND EMO AT ALL
She sang them in the "恋爱-ing" manner!
Haha...enthu-siao =)

Had fun that day. Been pretty long since i went K.
But i dun like TEO HENG even though it was damn cheap
Like $5 per person?!?!?!

CHEESE!!!

Pardon my abrupt-cum-lazy-blogging.
I'm kinda feeling motion-challenged.
That probably sums up my weekend.
Tired, but Fun. ^^

Monday, September 22, 2008 12:43 AM

Whole Weekend of Fun!!!

Great...I'm back home

Had 5 hrs of beauty sleep after Phuture-ing last night.

Got into bed - 5am.

Woke up...11am...supposed to be 10.30, but i snoozed the alarm and went back to lala land.

Was LATE for work at Kiehls today.

And i went for a play, BOOM! With the TS people! =)

Shall update with the pictures once i get them from Tricia and ,i think, Jamie.

I enjoyed it! Though i was damn tired.

Caixia (Cath) keeps SQUASHING MY FACE.

Yuyang keeps FLATTENING my hair.

In Phuture, and even today, after BOOM.

I swear my cheeks hurt, after last night.

And now for the results of my IPPT test on Saturday!!!

Ti Gong replied my letter with an email.

Here's the details of that email...

From: ti-gong@celestialpalace.org.upstairs
To: wobuhouhui_7@hotmail.com (Gary)
CC: saf@ns.org.sg

Dearest Gary,

I've received your Letter of Desperation on Friday, 19/09/2008

(marked with *High Importance*), and from it, I can sense the genuine and heartfelt sincerity coming from

you. Besides this, I've also learned that you have specially made time to train hard
for your IPPT just barely 3

days before (jogging on Wednesday, plus the effort to do pull ups)
the Test, which makes me kinda admire your

confidence, having the utmost belief in yourself
that you can make it for a Silver in such a short period of time.

And such confidence and faith, i
assure you, begets promising returns.. So just go ahead and do what you need

to do for the
IPPT Test on Saturday. Leave the rest to me.

I will 保佑 you .

Regards,

Ti Gong

Yay!!!

And so you've guessed it!

My Result Slip

I've Got a SILVER!!!

V for Victory!!! ^^

Meaning......I am $200 richer!!!

*wide grin*

=)

Which totally explains my uber big SMILE!

Thank you Ti Gong.

Kam Xia many many.

I'm going to sleep le.

If you are feeling generous, gimme 4 numbers too.

^_____^

Gd Night!

Saturday, September 20, 2008 7:50 PM

I'll Be Phuture-ing tonight!

Letter of Desperation

Dearest Ti Gong,

Please....

保佑

Gary a.k.a ToFuBoY

So that he can pass his IPPT
test tomorrow with a

SILVER!

*Kam Xia Many Many*

Yours Sincerely (诚心诚意),

Gary a.k.a ToFu

I wanna get my Silver!
I wanna get my 200 dollar dollar!
It means so much to me!
Even though GST credits is coming.
But 200 bucks from the govt is a
MUST HAVE!!!

I'm just a struggling student, desperate to make ends meet.

=(

The world is already plunged in financial turmoil
Witht the collapse of the Lehman Group,
And the interminable queue outside the AIA building
everyday in busy Shenton way.

Typical Singaporeans

Mark O'Dell, general manager of AIA Singapore,
has left and Executive Vice President Kenneth Juneau
will take over immediately, the company said on Friday.

Woah...even the head has resigned!!!

This 200 dollar dollar can sure come in handy one day!

So i do hope my letter to Ti Gong helps.
And maybe, i'll get lucky, who knows?
Ti Gong might hear my plea of desperation

^_____^

So wish me luck for my IPPT tmr kays!
It will be greatly appreciated! =)

Its gonna be another long and eventful day tmr.
Shall be beaching at Sentosa again after
I GET MY SILVER (well...i hope ^^)

Hehehe =P

Have a great weekend people!!!

WoOoOoHoOoOo!!!

China yet Again.
Making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

This time, it isn't about the Olympics Sham.
Lives are at stake here. Innocent lives...

Two babies with kidney stones receive medical treatment at a military hospital in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China's Gansu Province, Sept. 11, 2008. (Xinhua Photo)

A third infant has died in China after consuming contaminated baby milk powder and more than 6,200 still ill from consumption.

As it appears, the milk powder has been contaminated with a chemical named Melamine, which is apparently able to disguise the taste of diluted milk. This has always been the case isn't it?

People from China (China Chinese) simply love to shave costs by diluting the food products that they sell, this is widely manifested in Singapore too, by the Chinese nationals on our little island.

If you haven't noticed, the bubble tea (honey milk tea) that you have just bought from Sweet "Sing" (which seems to be overwhelmingly operated by China Girls) has just got milder in taste. The honey syrup which is meant to be sticky in texture and golden brown in colour, actually flows outta the bottle like "honey water" when poured. Obviously, that bottle of honey syrup has been tampered with!!! Any idiot could tell that H20 is included in the liquified mix of

God-knows-what-else-Melamine-maybe?

Even my usual Ban Mian starts to taste diluted. -__-

and the fishies (Ikan Bilis) are getting smaller.

I guess they are malnourished.

By the way, I'm referring to the Fishies

Not the women from China, definitely not.

They always seem to have rather huge assets. (points to chest)

Which is probably why the old ah peks are attracted to them.

So they can't possibly be malnourished.

OKAYs...

i know i am digressing a little too much.

Yeap back to the contaminated milk powder issue.

6244 innocent babies have fallen victim to this.

1327 infants are still undergoing treatment in hospitals,

158 of them diagnosed with acute kidney failure.

And knowing China, u can bet ur weekly allowance

on these figures being understated.

And the main culprit behind this inhumane act?

SanLu Group Co.

(wanted to use the pic of the CEO as a dartboard, but DAMN! I couldn't find it online.)

What makes this accident unforgivable was the Company's

intention to suppress information of the

contamination despite being totally aware of it.

Sanlu did not inform the Shijiazhuang municipal government until 2nd August,

after a delay of five months.

A WHOPPING FIVE MONTHS!!!

Officials waited until September 9 to inform provincial officials

who took a full day before contacting the central government.

How EFFICIENT!?!?! BEAT THAT!

ONE DAMN SAD NEWS FOR ICE CREAM LOVERS!

An independent food watchdog in Hong Kong found eight out of the 30 dairy products they tested contained traces of the chemical, normally used in plastics. Hong Kong authorities immediately ordered the withdrawal of the latest goods, produced by the Chinese firm Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group.

Constance Chan, the controller of Hong Kong's Centre for Food Safety, told Reuters: "We are recalling the Yili products and the importer is also recalling all Yili products from the Yili brand.

"That would involve milk, milk beverages, yoghurt, ice cream and ice bar. Eight out of 30 products of Yili company contain melamine."

Girl on diet - *looks hungrily at yoghurt with a sad face*

Little boys & girls - *stares at ice cream through the glass shelf*

Why is this happening???

Because KIASU Singaporeans wouldn't wanna take the risk of

letting their kids consume milk products during this crisis period.

You never know, everything is made in China these days.

Well, almost everything...

The World should start teaching China a lesson,

by boycotting China-made products, and that's

INCLUDING FAKE BUBBLE TEA!

with DILUTED HONEY!

*GgRrR*

Let's start today, a small step forward is a good start.

Boycott your nearest Bubble Tea Stall ("Sweet-Sing")

until they are ready to give us PURE, authenthic HONEY!

^__________^

12:49 AM

Random Post

Sunday - Working at Kiehls Raffles City

Work was kinda fun on Sunday.
Did the usual Kiehls stuff - giving out brochures.
Then something extraordinary happened!

The glass window display at Cortina Watch
shattered into a million pieces out of nowhere!
And i guess many were taken aback by the incident.

Tommy and I were "shocked" too!
haha...look at our horrified faces! =)

People must be thinking how retarded we can be.
As we posed for the picture above,
we attracted much stares from around us.
Oh well...no harm in having a little fun right? =)

I was reading cath's blog when i saw the part about her getting
vintage "ah pek" spectacles from Daiso for just TWO dollars!!!

Can u believe it???

Well...i couldn't, so i headed down to Daiso to check it out
for myself on Tuesday evening. And guess what?!?!?!?

They really do sell the glasses!!! ^____^

There! My $2 "ah pek" glasses!

And i wore it to Wednesday's TS practical class!

And took picture with Tricia! =)

haha...we do look weird right?!?!

Alrights...shall stop blogging for today...
I've got a mid term paper for NM3215 tmr

=(

SADDED

But it should be alright, i was at school studying from 6 till 10pm.
At least i feel better, not so guilty =)
All the BEST to ME tmr!!! YAY!

Recess week is next! Can't wait!!!

Tuesday, September 16, 2008 11:54 AM

AAAHHHH! My IPPT is on this coming Saturday!

I am starting to panic.

Last night, i decided to go for a light jog around my estate.

It was about 8pm when i changed and left home.

As i headed for the park behind my block, i felt a strong reluctance to move my feet beyond "walking" pace.

My legs have never felt so heavy before. It's almost as if there were weights strapped to it, making it seem like lifting those feet any higher than usual walking motion was a chore.

"I've gotta start running." I told myself, or "i'll never make it for my 2.4km run on Saturday."

Reluctantly, i dragged my weight-laden feet and started to trudge forward.

"Good, at least i'm beyond walking now."

And (surprise surprise!) i started to pick up pace.

Boy...running never felt so good!

Feeling the cool night breeze brushing past my cheeks was kinda refreshing.

I ran to the park where the pull up bars were.

I clung onto the bars and hung there for a moment.

Then i tried to pull as many as i could.

And when i barely reached 7, i felt like my arms were about to give way!!!

OMG...i needed 8 pull ups to get a Silver!!!!

I WANT A SILVER!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!

*struggling like mad* i mustered all my remaining strength and pulled like there's no tomorrow.

*Wheww* I felt an immediate sign of comfort and relief when i saw my chin going beyond the bar, for the 8th time.

Satisfied with my effort (haha...what effort?), i continued with my run.

I had initially wanted to run around the park, but then i thought that it was kinda boring running in circles, so i just ran towards the overhead bridge leading to NUS.

And before i knew it, i was running to school. I ran till i reached the central library, and i was kinda happy to see what school was like after dark. I saw many other joggers along the way, and there were still plenty of students in school despite it being 8 plus. I guess its just me, as i don't really enjoy staying in school till such hours.

Had a 3 min toilet break at the central library toilet, checking to see whether my hair were in the right places. (some strands have to be on this side, while others on the other side of the parting)

=)

LoL...feeling energised and refreshed after that narcissistic toilet session, i resume my run back home. BOY...its further than i thought...and i am starting to feel the strain on my legs.

The run back wasn't much of a problem,

UNTIL I REACH THE OVERHEAD BRIDGE [-_____-]

MY GOD! I practically mounted the steps with the aid of the railings, ALL THE WAY UP!

Dang!!! Tired me....but i decided to be discipline and since i'm already so "cui"

I continued to do my 2nd set of pull ups.

And guess what?!

i managed to do 9!!! =)

Hehe...so happy!!! And i went home a happy tofuboy! ^____^

I'm gonna jog again on Wednesday night!

Jogging anyone? =)

Sentosa Trip with Gappies

13/09/08 - Saturday

On our way to Sentosa, taking a group picture

Nori, Azlie and Me =)

Ru Ai and Nori

Eh...our expressions damn retarded lah!

A super nice photo taken with Nori's $3.2k Nikon cam.

Yeah...we're in Sentosa already...making out way to the beach!

This is the spot where the monitor lizard was spotted.

By ME!

Dunno why i gave this face though ^^

Woooo...Frisbeeeeeeeee!

Wow! Chiobu spotted!!!

Chey! Its just Ru ai -___-

haha..but also chio lah...

(must mention this, if not later she beat me up)

*ang gong siao* i scared...^^ hehe...

Fuuuuu Yoooooo!!! =)

haha another of the nicer pictures taken with the Nikon!

Ru Ai and Tricia

(acting romantic) ^___^

And we played Volleyball!
I actually went to buy a volleyball.
Set me back by $25, but it was worth it.
Good Investment =)

Woah...serious loook on Azlie's face.

"Hey you there...better buck up, or else you out!"

That's what Azlie appears to be saying. hehe

Wah...Nori...so cool!

Errr...why become "gu niang" already? LOL

Wah seh...sibei ENTHU lah!

Damn Tricia means business! ^^

We had a friendly volleyball match with a bunch of Fuhua secondary school students.
And it was kinda fun. Because there was a catch to it.
The losing team had to become "muah chee".
And in case you people aint sure of what "muah chee" is, it basically refers to the human body being soaked to the skin, and then being "marinated" by rolling over the sand with the wet body. Now that's what you call YUMMY! =)

And we won! =)

Whew! Lucky those aint us!

Poor girl, kena "marinated" by her team mates!

YAY! I Love this PICTURE! ^^

Absolute YAY-ness!

And i created my own squatting toilet bowl! =)

We took turns using it.

Ru Ai peeing the guys way. LOL

And this is what you'll look like if you haven shitted for days on end.

"GEK SAI" face

^_____^

It was a tiring but relaxing day at siloso beach.

Sun, Sand and the Sea!

Not forgetting the great company that i have in the Gappies!

And i took this picture!

Nice Right?

Beautiful Sunset.

Lucky Tricia, she got to be part of this wonderful shot! =)

Had dinner at Food Republic

Then we sat down and talked awhile at vivo

Took some pictures =)

Scandal? =)

Well....that's how our Sentosa Trip went! =)

Had a fun and enjoyable day!

Gonne be some time till we meet again.

As each of us gets busy with our individual lives.

Let's meet up soon again k!

Till then...^^

Saturday, September 13, 2008 1:27 AM

Thursday 11/09/08

Had a damn long day in school.
My 2nd time staying back so late
This time, its completing my NM2220 assignment.

LSM Lecture ended at 3.30pm
Met Kjan at YIH to collect his new laptop
that his dad bought using my student account
caught up with him for awhile =)

Was on the way to Deck to meet Xin Le to study
Bump into Fransca and Jia Hwa at the Deck
Been damn long since i talked to Fransca
And we just updated each other on our present lives
She's having it good, from what she told me.
Happy for her...finally she's with someone GOOD

Then i proceeded to find Xin Le at the staircase near BK.
She was with Celeste and Alvin and some others that i didn't know
And we moved up to the Air-con area to do our work.
She did her revision, i did my assignment.

And it sucks doing last minute work. Really.

Celeste joined us later, and 3 of us TRIED to do our work.
But we just ended up talking. Actually I was seriously doing my work.
Xin Le and Celeste just kept talking. But i was good.
And serious. I did my work, dutifully.
And i am damn proud of it =) Give me a tap on my shoulder k. THKS!

Then, Carmenlita (is that how its spelt?) came too.
Friend of Xin Le and Celeste. MY GOD!
She's even more talkative than those two!
And u might have guessed, those 3 just kept rambling on and on.
HAHAHA. And i was still DOING my work. =)

It was approaching 7pm, and we decided to fill our hungry stomachs
None of us have actually tried the Sichuan Hotpot
So that was our dinner for that day! Only $5!
But then...i think the soup stock is damn salty.
MSG machiam free la! zzZZ
And Carmenlita was like "Wah..damn nice...super nice...!!!"
And she add soup, add rice and add "fire"
Everything also add! LOL...What a funny girl!

We finally had our fill, and we went back to our books
But apparently, i guess its the "hotpot" syndrome
the girls just kept laughing non stop
and can't seem to concentrate on their revision
Xin Le started singing, and Celeste recording the song on her Laptop
And then Celeste joined in too. -____-

We talked crap after that...and i was figured to be worth 20 cents! =(
Carmenlita ask if i would marry her for 10 cents
And i bargained for 20 cents. -___-
Stupid Me...
Actually i wanted to say
"I give u 20 cents to not ask me that question can?"
But like very bad...whahaha ^____^

Before long, it was already 9.30pm! Time to go home!
I was super lethargic already lah.
Xin Le's parents came to fetch her home, and guess what?
We were given a lift! Actually i only got a lift to "Science"
And then i walked home. Anyway, its only 10 mins =)

That marks my 2nd longest duration spent in school!!!

Friday 12/09/08

Boring Day i've had.

Went to school to hand in my assigment
A hard copy was required, so i had to waste time going to school
When Friday was supposed to be my FREE DAY!

Then went to tutor Hamburger and Stella

Met Sarah in town at 7.30pm
And we shopped around for Samuel's B'day present
His birthday is pretty close to mine.
In fact, 3 days ahead, 27/09
While Tommy's one is on the 29th.

MINE is on the 30th of September!!!

Do take note kays =) hehehe...

Well, we managed to buy his gift
And sam, hope you'll like it.
Sarah and I chose your present.
Don't like then TOO BAD! ^^

Haha...anyway, Sarah and i went to meet up with the Kiehl's boys
Had dinner at Suntec's Just Noodle
Paul, Justin, Edwin, Johnathon were also there.
Ooooh plus Jolin.
Whom we presumed was Johnathon's scandal.
Or maybe Johnathon was Jolin's scandal.
Eh..actually both ways are the same. ^^

We went for a game of bowling after dinner
Oh MY....its a good feeling to bowl again after so long
And Sarah's wearing her lucky skirt.
She has the top score today, 144 and 133 respectively.
I needa polish my bowling skills after today.
I'll be back SARAH!!! =)

Tired but eventful day.
A boring start yet ending wonderfully.

Its Tuesday ONLY...

Time passes so slowly, and i've only just managed to get past Monday and today =(
Completed my 1st interactive media project and submitted it.

Scratch - That's the name of the program used.

If you guys are interested to download the program, here's the link!

SCRATCH DOWNLOAD SITE

Feels so good after completing the assignment!

Exhilarating sense of accomplishment, not because it was a tough assignment.

Rather, it's because Tofuboy is usually too slack to start on his school assignments.

And today, he did it!

Last night to be exact =)

Here's a couple of pictures of the finished product. Its damn cute can.

Everyone's happy except Sunfloweeee
Who's kinda shocked? (notice the retarded eyes)
And L goes, "HUH??"

As weird as it seems, Sunfloweee is happy again =)
While Mr.Sun -___- I guess he's bored
Miss Brownie starts to grow all of a sudden
and leaves began spurting out from her sides
All this while, L remains puzzled
trying to comprehend what's going on.

Sunfloweee feels sad coz no one seems to be bothered with it.
Look, Miss Brownie has even fallen asleep!!! *snores*

Then, out of nowhere, Miss Brownie starts to evolve...

into...

Patrick the Starfish!!!

WAHHH!!!

Everyone got the fright of their lives!

And all L does is just, "HUH????" 0___0

LOL...that's just some of characters that u can animate using Scratch!

So Cool Right??!?!

(though i can only illustrate using pictures)

It looks something like this.

And you can actually get the characters to move and dance and much much more!

So if you are bored and needa find something to do on a Sunday afternoon...
Download Scratch now...and erm WELL...start SCRATCHING!

^______^

Monday and Tuesday and really busy days. Dread the start of the week.
But whenever i get home on Tuesdays, i feel so HAPPY!
Because Wednesdays are pretty much equivalent to free days for me.
Only one lesson for the day

12-2pm Theatre Studies (TS) Practical sessions.
And i always look forward to that
Always filled with fun and laughter!
Got to know Tricia's group of Friends. Funny Bunch of peeps! =)

And i was about to blog today's entry when LeLe aka XinLe
showed me this youtube video of a damn cute boy boy!

Rise and Shine!!!

Woke up bright and early on a Saturday MORNING, struggling to drag my weary, aching body outta my bed. I've really forgotten when was the last time i slept in till noon, and spending the whole day rotting at home. The feeling of lazing the day away somehow always rejuvenates me, relieving the monotony of everyday life.

No school
No tuition lessons
No work
No town
No clubbing
No movie-going.

Just simply, no agenda at all for the day.

Yes, that would be extremely boring, but i guess the occasional boredom really helps to unwind and rejuvenates the body's mental state, refreshing one psychologically before the whole monotonous cycle starts again. Well, i doubt my grueling schedule allows me this comfort of lazing and rotting my day away. Coz even if there is no school, there's always tuition, or working at Kiehls on the weekends. Even though i've already decided to work lesser at Kiehls, (only gonna work on sundays) I still find it kinda tough to make time for ME, MYSELF and I. Its never gonna be easy finding the perfect balance between time spent with friends. All of us are kept occupied with different events happening in our lives, and arranging a perfect time slot to meet up with old friends always seemed to be an insurmountable task, coz there will always be at least one person who cannot accomodate a designated time/day due to clashes with dates or school work, which is kinda sad, coz i always look forward to such catch-ups where we exchange updates about our current lives.

=(

Was supposed to meet up with the Gappies, but it was canceled last minute due to unforeseen circumstances (probably due to one of those reasons as mentioned above). Nevertheless, i do look forward to the next Gappies gathering.

Thank you Ru Ai for always taking the effort to organise our meet-ups despite your busy schedule. =)

Hmmm...though i din managed to meet up with the Gappies, i did get to spend time with the Kiehls guys on Saturday, at Sentosa! It was initially planned as a farewell outing for one of the Kiehls boy, Yaohui, but in the end, i guess he himself didn't feel like joining us. It's kinda distressing to know that, after all, this Sentosa trip was meant to celebrate his last few days of freedom as Yaohui was due for enlistment into serving his nation on the 10th of September. Edwin was another disappointment, as he "pang seh" us on friday night. Apparently, William received an sms from Edwin on friday night, which goes like this,

Edwin: Heys William, i've got a headache, so i don't think i can go Sentosa tmr.

When William told us about it, i was like...

-____-

Like what the fuck right???

I mean, we are not forcing you to join us. But seriously, your lack of effort to even find a decent excuse totally insulted our intelligence. Even a primary school kid can lie better these days, and you'll be amazed at the lengths that they would go to sustain that little lie. They'll not hesistate to fabricate even more tall tales to substantiate the initial lie, and at least, they even made the effort to make that lie worth believing, to the extent that you would just say,

"okay, i'll let it pass this time round since you made such desperate attempts to sound convincing, you must really have some compelling reasons to lie in the first place."

But NO, "i've got a headache" surely does not sound convincing.

Alrights, i admit, i am quite anal about this issue, but i don't care. I just wanna speak my mind.

Still, we had a pretty enjoyable day at the beach, playing volleyball and and basking in the sun.

Shall upload more photos and tell more about the Sentosa trip once William has uploaded the pictures. =) Not gonna let insincere people spoil my day!

Gotta go about with one of my weekly tasks - Tuition at Anchorage

Cya! ^^
