Like...really really soon *FRIDAY* I totally can't wait lah. Tot of my costume already! GONNA BE FUN!!! =) 2:16 AM Monday - 27/10/08 - Deepavali MAISIE'S BIRTHDAY!!! Went to celebrate my younger sister's birthday, Maisie. Well, her birthday falls on the 28th, but since 27th was a PH We decided to celebrate on 27th instead, at least everyone was free =) Dad, Mum, Maisie, Sarah, Me  Tea Pot set at the entrance of the Restaurant  Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant Located on the 60th storey of UOB Plaza   The ambience was really good. Peaceful and quiet environment. Here's the starters... Baby Octopus and Mayo Prawn Salad. *yums* ^^  This taste like popcorn chicken - normal.  WAH! I LOVE FRIED EE-MEE!!! =)  Kong Bao Prawns with Dried Chilli and Cashew Nuts  Fresh Black-Pepper Scallops  This Fish is YUMMY! Crispy on the outside, tender and fresh within Yummy fish is complemented by the soya sauce! I LIKE! ^^  Roast Whole Chicken Simple as the name may sound, Its one of the best dishes, i feel. Super crispy and fragrant skin extremely tender chicken flesh. Delightful  HEHE...YES YOU GUESS IT RIGHT! TOFU!!! With seafood....*salivating*  This is a Zhi Char Favourite! Stir Fried Beef with Spring Onion and Ginger Shiok la! Beef SUPER Tender!  This is yummy too! Soft Shell Crab topped with Pork Floss!  LOL...my dad and the birthday girl.   Long Beans. Simple but nice.  Baby Kai Lan - Favourite Vegetable  I HATED THIS GREENISH SOUP! But apparently, the rest of my family likes it -_______-  VERY ULTRA SPICY DICED CHICKEN CUBES *Warning* Extremely SPICY. Broke out in sweat after like..... 2 bites?   Really Super HOT lah... But the taste was wonderful, exhilarating-ly HOT  Family Picture 1  Family Picture 2  Ooh...look at that guy in yellow at the back of the picture!  He's pouring TEA outta that LONG SPOUT! COOL SEH! =)  And that's my mum in the picture... Staring in awe....^^  And they asked me to take a picture with that DUDE   More pictures...      And now for DESSERTS!!! ^^ Fruit Plate...  Mango Pudding...  Sesame Balls...  And this is the signature dessert. Beancurd Jelly...   Yeap...that's how dinner went. SUPER FULL AND BLOATED! Price came up to about $60 per person. =( Not very worth it huh, especially if you aint a big eater. Ala-carte would be a much better option for you =) Overall, i'll give it 8/10 for the food and ambience! 
Sunday, October 26, 2008 12:41 AM Hello Everyone!!! Remember the story about the car with the scratch marks that i've promised to tell you all? I'm done with a couple of pictures that I've created to aid the illustration of the story! ^^ Well....here's how the story goes... Part 1 "The Car" (white car with the scratch marks) was trying to reverse park at a parking lot in between two other cars, A and B. And it so happens that during this whole process, both Car A's and Car B's drivers were in their cars, present throughout this whole incident. The Car, while trying to reverse park, accidentally bumped into the right headlight of Car A. Surprisingly, owner of Car A (who was in the car) was extremely NICE about it, saying that its was okay, which was much to the relief of The Car's driver. *WHEW* (Yah...definitely LAH!)  Part 2 But nevertheless, Car A immediately drove off, while The Car continued to reverse park. Noticed that at this point in time, Car B's driver saw The Car reversing, and RETRACTS its left side mirror just in case (the side mirror got ripped off)...  Part 3 This time, The Car only had one obstacle (should be easy hur?), which was Car B on its right. All it had to do was to reverse and park nicely beside Car B, since there was ample space for it to manouvere with the departure of Car A. But apparently, The Car seemed bent on crashing into Car B, with its rear threatening to destroy Car B's left headlights! (okay, I'm exaggerating) Note: Car B RE-OPENS its left side mirror...  Part 4And YEAH....you've guess it right! Car B decide that it wasn't safe to bank on The Car successfully reverse parking itself without causing any damage to Car B... So....  ^____^ HAHAHA!!!! Anyway...here's some pictures that i took at Xin Le's place While we had a group practice for our TS practical last week On doing a scene from Cockroach Opera =) Hehe....so FUN!!! CLUBBING PICTURES!!! Saturday was a rather fun day at work. Time passed really fast, and we can't wait to club! Managed to psycho the rest into having dinner at Great World. Coz Sam, Terence and I wanted to get our CHOPS first! READ... The All Important Citibank CHOP We were there by 8.50pm Damn kiasu right? =) But no choice la, market spoilt already. And you know what? First they colonised MOS. Next up...Double O on Wednesdays And now...Zouk =( HELP!!! When there are Anyway, i hope MOS reopens soon...so they can just flock back there, to their "SHUFFLE NIGHT" or whatever they call it. ^^ CAN"T WAIT!!! Met up with Cath and Yuyang friends, Ah Bee and Rachelle. ^^ Got to know Ah Bee from clubbing with Cath and Yuyang previously. He is damn funny CAN...and cute! Don't know much about Rachelle though. And she makes a wish...well...maybe 3 =)  *blow candles*  And she prepares to cut her cake...  Her Girlies...  *Muacks*  The kiehls boys AGAIN... IRRITATING, aren't we? ^^  Prize presentation!!! Haha...no lah...its just her present! HANDMAD CARD. =)  Philips Sound system!  And we WASTED NO TIME in unwrapping her present =P  Guess what? Sarah brought her KTV system t the Chalet! Wooohoooo! ^^  POWERFUL right?  We had wanted to go bowling in the wee hrs of the night But alas! We were a wee bit too late. =( Reached the alley at 4.40am. The Ah NEH don't let us play, told us it was closed. But apparently, we called, and they said the center closes at 5am! -__- So we ended up heading to mac, to play UGLY DOLL!!!  FUCKING FUN CAN!?!?!??!?!  Everyone is waiting earnestly to shout... UGLY!!!  That practically sums up the first day and night of the chalet!
Next up would be Kobe's 21st B'day celebration at Deli Vege. I reached there pretty late, about 8 plus, close to 9pm, due to my recall back to camp that afternoon. Was supposed to head back to Sarah's chalet, but apparently, it was already very late le, so kinda like no point going back to Pasir Ris, since i'm not staying over. Although I pretty much had fun at Sarah's Birthday chalet at Aloha (Pasir Ris) We reached there about 7 pm or so (we were supposed to meet at 5.30pm!) But Edwin was late...^^ and we missed the shuttle bus. We ended up taking bus 354 to Downtown east And we walked all the way in to Aloha =( So damn FAR. I still haven't got the pictures form Sarah or William yet. Shall post and update more about the chalet when they've sent me. And YES...Saturday was damn bad. Woke up at 2pm in the afternoon at Sarah's chalet. And just when we were about to go to Ehub for bowling. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? You won't believe it! I couldn't either! =( I got recalled to report for Mobilization Manning! At Boon Lay. Full Battle Order. By 5pm. I received the call around 2.15pm. The mobilization was activated at 1pm. How efficient...one hour delay -___- And my friend got his call only at 4pm. So much for all the military campaigns and adverts. Anyway, i literally... PIA home from ALOHA PASIR RIS WALK ALL THE WAY TO BUS STOP TOOK BUS TO PASIR RIS MRT MRT-ed ALL THE WAY BACK TO DOVER UNPACKED MY ARMY STUFF (it was all sealed up in a box) Because i never really thought that i would have the chance (*pui* who wants that chance?!?!) to wear my uniform and put on the full battle order for a long long time. Seems like i was wrong.  And then... I PIA-ed TO BOON LAY MRT TOOK A CAB AS I WAS RUNNING LATE ARRIVED AT BOON LAY MRT with a familiar feeling SHITTY.  Anyway, met up with old friends from camp Took a picture for momento. The mob manning was pretty lame. Reported there, sign our attendance Told to wait till 7pm then we can leave "Just hang around" they said... -___- That's how a typical day in army goes. Huxley wrote in 1930 a Utopia, presented satirically, where humanity lives in a carefree, healthy, and technologically advanced society; however, art, science, religion, and all other forms of human expression, as we know, have been replaced to create the "Brave New World".
Warfare and poverty have been eliminated and everyone is permanently happy due to being grown in a society where there is no antagonistic thought and of cause, Soma. All of these things have been achieved by eliminating many other things that humans consider to be central to their "identity" - family, culture, art, literature, science, religion - although there's an idolization of "our Ford", Henry Ford, who is seen as the father of their society (that function as an irony of what the culture idolatrize). It is also a hedonistic tale, ruled by a government that rations the in-take of hallucinatory drugs that induce fantasies. Additionally, social stability has been achieved and is maintained via deliberately engineered and rigidly established social stratification. In this society, natural reproduction has been done away with and children are decanted and raised in Hatcheries and Conditioning Centres. Society is divided into five caste, created in these centres. The castes are
Alphas Betas Gammas Deltas And lastly, the Epsilons with each caste further split into Plus and Minus members. Alphas and Betas, as the most intelligent, run the society; they make decisions, teach, and dictate policy. Each Alpha or Beta is the product of one fertilized egg developing into one fetus. Members of other castes are not unique but are instead created using the Bokanovsky Process. In BNW, genetic engineering isn't used straightforwardly to pre-code happiness. Instead, it underwrites the subordination and inferiority of the lower orders. In essence, Brave New World is a global caste society. Social stratification is institutionalised in a five-way genetic split. There is no social mobility. Alphas invariably rule, Epsilons invariably toil. Genetic differences are reinforced by systematic conditioning.
But in Brave New World, the correlation vanishes or is even inverted. The lower orders (Deltas and Epsilons) are at least as happy as the Alphas thanks to soma, childhood conditioning and their brain-damaged incapacity for original thought. Thus in sleep-lessons on class consciousness, for instance, juvenile Betas learn to love being Betas. They learn to respect Alphas who "work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever." But they also learn to take pleasure in not being Gammas, Deltas, or the even more witless Epsilons. "Oh no," the hypnopaedia tapes suggest, "I don't want to play with Delta children." Not that i dread school though. In fact, i'm kinda looking forward to school again. Needa get into the "SCHOOL HAS STARTED" mode. Or else i'll never get into the mood in time for studying =( Gotta work hard this semester, its my Birthday resolution! So...I'M GONNA PAY ATTENTION IN LECTURES TMR!!! DON'T DISTRACT ME DURING LECTURES OKAY? ^^ And i watch Gossip Girl Episode 5 last night. GOSH! DAMN NICE! CHUCK IS SO F**KING COOL LA!!! The way he treats Dan like some lackey. And Jenny is HOT!!! She has changed so much since Season 1. For the BETTER though hehe ^^ And did i mention that i damn enjoy watching Blair get dissed by Serena? Watching her looking so helpless and dejected somehow makes me smile =) Coz B is usually so vindictive and manipulative that only Chuck seems to be able to take her in hand, and he looks like he's losing grip already. Respect me juniors on Earth =) coz... I've breathed at least AN OUNCE OF AIR MORE than anyone younger. WAHAHAHA! ^^ This year has been full of ups and downs for me, personally. But my birthday celebrations this year were all kinda heart-warming. And yes...surprising. Surprising is the word. I didn't expect alot of things to happen. But i just wanna say, "I"VE GOT GREAT FRIENDS AROUND ME!" =) I've received presents from close friends, and unexpected presents from others. There's this present that i REALLY (x 1000000) super duper like! But i aint supposed to mention who its from, so let it just be a secret. To me, its the Bestest Birthday Gift this year! Appreciate the thought and effort that went into this gift. To that person...Thanks! ^^ Monday - 29/09/08 Went for dinner with the gappies. Tricia, Azlie and Nori. And i thought it was just a random dinner plus catching up session. Tricia suggested this place in Shaw Center, called "The Ship" And when i reached, i only saw Azlie and Nori. They told me Tricia went to get seats, coz they didn't make a reservation. Funny thing is, i still didn't feel that something was amiss. STUPID ME. The place was nice, feels like we were dining in a SHIP, due to the decor. And Tricia was already sitting inside when we reached. Here's some pictures...

Woke up 10.30am!!! Was supposed to be in sch at 10am for project meeting. DAMN! Stayed up till 5am to do the stupid Starlogo shit! (glad its over *whew*) Niam called like 3 times, and i saw her missed calls after my shower. Rushed to school like a crazy fella...This aint a gd start to my Birthday. NO GOOD AT ALL =( Thankfully, my project mates are like the nicest people ever! ^^ They never scold me, but i felt very bad...Must be punctual next time! Was supposed to spend my Bday with someone today, but that someone wasn't feeling well due to rashes, and had to go to the hospital for a check-up. So...i was left with no plans for tonight. Damn Sad right??? =( Kena Pangseh!!! On my Birthday!!!! WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE WORSE??? But thankfully ( i think God loves me ^^), Drizzle asked me out for dinner today! YAY!!! She treated me to dinner @ Jack's Place! =) She insisted on buying me dinner! Really very sweet of her right? ^^ She's my Junior back in college, and we haven seen each other for almost 2 years! 2 YEARS! That's EFFING LONG AGO!!! So I was really surprised to meet up with her again! =) Drizzle - Xiao Yu

We had fun catching up on old times back in JJC.
She shared with me her gossips about she and this other guy. Haha...what started out as a joke...became smth real. Shan't reveal what the topic was about. ^^ We were gonna get the bill, and i took out my $30 E-voucher.
And guess what? The waiter told us that we have to use it with the MEMBER CARD WHO THE FUCK IS A MEMBER OF JACK's PLACE? I mean, who so free, go sign up for Jack's Place membership??? -_____- And its not even stated in the T/C that we have to use in conjuction with the MEMBER CARD It was obviously a SCAM!!! So we wrote some stuff in the feedback form. Definitely aint positive or pleasant comments. So people, visit Jack's Place at your own risk. The promos are probably a SCAM, i think. Anyway...on to happier things. Jack's Place aint gonna ruin today! Went to the Cathay to catch "My Best Friend's Girl". The movie was Hilarious!!! ^^ Great movie to catch, light-hearted and comedic. Oh yah...Xiao Yu...she really brought rain with her lo. When we finished our movie, we were about to make our way home When we realised it was pouring!!! And Xiao Yu brought it along with her! Luckily she got bring umbrella, so we shared it till we reached PS. Walking in the Rain...you must be thinking, ROMANTIC RIGHT? HAHAHA...NOT when you feel WET and COLD! ^^ Drizzle...i still wanna thank you for the wonderful evening! =) Thanks for the fun and laughter!
