Yesterday, I was passing by my dad's shop.

And I saw my 三姑 sitting there at the counter.

I said hello...and that's when she asked...

“Gary 你去 Wild Wild Wet 啊？”

(She was referring to seeing me on TV)

And I replied...

MILO!

One thing that I like about NUS is...

They have MILO trucks! ^___^

And students can drink for free WOOOHOOO!

Let me digress a little...

On Thursday, 12.30pm

I received a call from Serene.

Serene Heng : Gary Liu...where are you? Central Library got Milo truck! *excited*

Me : *whispers in phone* Eh u very random leh. I'm in PR2202lecture. why you not here yet?

Serene Heng : Huh? Today got lecture meh? ZOMG! I forgot about this lecture! I thought our lecture today starts at 2pm!!!

Me : *slaps forehead* Wah lau...you see Milo truck forgot all about lecture. [-___-']

HAHAHAHA damn funny la!!! =P

Anyway, here she is.

Thursday 22/01/09

Today was a really hectic and busy day.

Lectures all the way from 10am to 4pm.

"Self declared" half an hour break in between.

^___^

Then headed home to take a SHORT nap.

Short Nap = 1 hour

Such naps are really rejuvenating!

Felt pretty much refreshed after the snooze.

Headed back to NUS to meet the rest.

It was Jiawei's "testimonial" match

Coz he's leaving for Perth to further his studies soon.

Initially, we were supposed to play at NUS.

In the end, the courts were packed.

So we headed back to my place @Dover.

Soccer was fun, so was catching up. ^^

Feels like we were back in secondary school days.

All was well....UNTIL...

Approximately 9.45pm...

2 policemen sauntered into the court.

Apparently, some ANAL IDIOT called the police.

Well...maybe he wanted to sleep already.

AT 9.45pm!!!

And our cheering during soccer was probably disturbing his peace.

First time in my life, my soccer game was interrupted by the police.

And its not as if a fight has ensued during the game or anything or that sort.

But because some ANAL geek probably cannot stand our wonderful cheering.

拿贝！！！

P.S : pronounced as "NA -BEI"...

But I'm thankful that the Police came at 9.45pm and not 9pm.

If not its pretty much a kill-joy to end our soccer game that early.

That CheeBong who called the police, probably hasn't heard of

KARMA.

I hope he/she is a hardcore smoker.

So that he/she will either die young.

Of lung cancer or other smoking related diseases

Or just get caught smoking in "smoking prohibited" areas

And get slapped with a hefty fine! =)

WOOOHOOO! Damn revengeful, I know.

But seriously,

I DON'T CARE! >.<

Complaining about people playing soccer is really...

UNFORGIVABLE.

Okays...on to happier things.

CNY is coming! YAY!!! ^^

Kiehl's CNY Dinner Gathering 2009

And what better place to be than CHINATOWN! ^^

Look at the busy crowd bustling with the festive atmosphere!

And the sky is not even dark yet!!!

While heading to the Chinatown food centre

We passed by this newly opened Steamboat outlet.

And ZOMG! The food looks damn good lah!

But sigh, the place was already packed like sardines in a can.

Much as we wanted to have dinner there, we left =(

Nevertheless, dinner was pretty okay!

Its the company that counts yeah? ^^

Haven't seen Celest since DUNNO WHEN!

That's life, everyone is busy with their own stuff.

This is F*CKING RANDOM!

BUT...

I watched Secret - 不能说的秘密 again!

Caught it on MioTV while rotting at home

And have I ever mentioned?

It's one of my all time FAVOURITE movies.

There were many parts of the show that I like.

Such as...

The scene where 路小雨teased 葉湘倫...

葉湘倫 asked 小雨 about the song that he heard her play,

And 小雨 went up to him and whispered gently into his ear,

“这是一个不能说的秘密。。。”

Another scene that I liked.

葉湘倫 fetching 小雨 around on his bike ^^

This is super romantic.

Ice cream never tasted better with a magnificent back drop of dusk.

小雨 actually initiated it! =P

COOOOOL!

I actually sat through the entire movie,

Not once leaving my seat just so that I wouldn't miss any part.

And I've watched it before!!! >.<>

Because...

I've bought all my new year clothes!!！

And CNY is really approaching real fast.

I can't wait to have the reunion dinner.

It's always the highlight of CNY that I look forward to! =)

Piping hot steamboat dinner with home cooked food.

Fresh succulent prawns, pork slices, kidneys and livers!

I am a sucker for pig INNARDS and seafood!

*slurps* =P

And the reunion dinner is a great time for catching up.

Especially with cousins that I've haven been talking to.

Spending time with my grandparents too.

I feel damn guilty of myself. *sigh*

Hardly ever spend time with them, now that they are getting old.

I would still see them at the shop every now and then.

But its usually a "Hi-Bye" thingy, as I would rush off to go out. =(

I could still remember when I was much younger,

My grandpa would bring me out every Saturday for McDonalds.

He would take me along to Chinatown where he gets his supplies.

And bring me to the McDonalds at People's Park Complex.

Then, he would order an extra value meal for me.

Each time, asking me if it was enough and if i wanted more.

Before he leaves, he would tell me to be good and wait for him.

Looking back, I realized that he loved me in his own way.

Even though he does not explicitly tell me.

We dunno how many more reunion dinners we can have.

So to me, every reunion dinner is a blessing, not to be taken for granted.

Which is why I looked forward to it so much each year. =)

It's not just about the food, but about the company of your loved ones.

I LOVE CHINESE NEW YEAR! ^^

Baking Cookies =)

Headed to William's place for cookie-baking today.
Bumped into his brother, Kevin after my tuition
So we went back to his place together.
And William was already home, waiting for us! ^^

Thanks William for the yummy dinner!
And I had a great time playing with Kenneth too!
Although he is like super HYPERACTIVE.
He just cannot seem to sit still for even 30 secs.

School's boring.

Tutorials won't start till the week after.

Explains my carefree Tuesdays and Fridays.

Hopefully I'll be able to fit Tutorials on the other days.

I feel like I have alot of things to do.

But I just can't seem to figure out what.

Puzzling.

It's tuition at Hamburger's this afternoon.

My life is such a routine, such a bore.

But somehow, I kinda like the weekly routine.

Its neither too "high", nor too "low".

I'm getting used to my life now.

Loves the long bus rides that I take.

Gonna catch Red Cliff 2 later this evening.

With Sam, Tric, Kevin and William @Cine.

Oh Yah. Heard from Ted that we're in I-weekly.

And 8 DAYS.

I'll probably get 8 DAYS just to see ourselves and laugh.

Anyway, its not everyday that we get to be in a magazine.

Shall keep this issue as a Momento! =)

The weekend was good.

Well, at least I think it was.

No partying, but very fruitful weekend.

Friday

It was EVENTFUL.

I love my Fridays now.

Saturday

It was MEANINGFUL.

Tuition session with Hamburger in the afternoon.

Headed home for the usual routine soccer game.

Rested my aching and tired body before heading out.

Forgot to have my dinner though = HUNGRY

Went to DAISO@IMM to get something

But because I had to withdraw money from the ATM

And the queue was effing LONG, no joke

Formed by the type of people that I detest.

Why can't they just stay at M.C? Or the Serangoon area?

Take almost 5 mins each to withdraw money.

As if withdrawing 10K like that. ANGRY

By the time I withdrew my money and reached DAISO

It was already 10pm le =( STUPID SMELLY SLOWPOKES.

Decided to get a cheesecake.

Headed somewhere...then home.

At the end of the day, ToFu is HAPPY! ^^

Tuition session with kid, william.

Headed to IKEA to meet Sam and Tric

To get my glass container =P i like it!

Then headed to Angela's place for baking session

William, Kobe, Yu Min and Kevin were already there

Baking was fun, but tiring. ^^

The tarts turned out pretty good.

Had a fun time too, thks Angela for letting us use your place!

My mum loved the pineapple tarts. AWESOME.

Mustafa Centre - My Virgin Trip

Met up with Sam, Tric and Kevin for Dim Sum.

Dim Sum was BAD, 老北京食堂 SUCKS!

Even for $10.20++ per pax, it was not worth the price.

* 炸酱面 “Zha Jiang” Noodles
* 北京打卤面 Beijing Style Braised Noodles “Lu Mian”
* 水煮牛肉面 Spicy Beef Noodles Soup

All the above cannot make it.

Only the * 小馅饼 Patties was good.

But aint good enough to render a picture search to show u all.

Just aint worth the trouble, or recommendation.

He has a plan for when he identifies his 7 beneficiaries that requires his best friend Dan (Barry Pepper) to see that his wishes are carried out after he is dead. Tim's plan threatens to unravel when he begins to fall in love with one of the people he is trying to help.

People who know me, sure knows i DETEST that STENCH.
Surprisingly, I survived the trip to Mustafa & Little India
I think I've mastered the art of the "Holding Breath Stance"
I was either holding my breath, or breathing through
my mouth half the entire time i was shopping there.
And I swear I can still "taste" the "flavour" of the air.

Hardly took any pictures, because people kept walking past.

And...I DON'T WANT THEM IN MY PICTURES!!!

Before we left, I took a picture, of Tric and Sam.
Yah...Sam is merely hiding behind Tric.
He's there, alright. Managed to duck in time.

And no more MUSTAFA for me again.

And I realised that it was a mini wildlife museum of Pulau Ubin.

MY! The view of the Quarry was awesome!!!

It looked like the ending scene from Red CLiff 1.

Beautiful valley flanked by the cliffs on the sides.

It was a tough ride up to the top.

But we all made it, except Linda and Joash.

Apparently, they had problems with their bikes

Linda's brakes were working overtime

Causing her front wheels to get jammed.

While Joash's handle came loose eventually.

So those two were stuck in the rain somewhere below =(

Nevertheless, we took some pictures without them!

US - Totally DRENCHED but enjoying every moment!

This has been on my mind the past few days...

And I really wanna get it off my chest!

I'M SICK and TIRED of the VOTING CONTEST!!! =(

REALLY DAMN SIAN OF THIS STUPID SYSTEM!!!

Deeply appreciate the friends of friends who voted for me too, though i might not know you people, I would still like to thank you all for voting.

Really thankful to have friends who are always there to support me, even though its damn troublesome to sign up for an account (endless log in problems, cannot vote etc.), they still made the effort to make countless attempts to sign up and to cast their 10 votes!

I really don't know the best possible way to thank them for their efforts, and I'm just glad that i have such friends around me, helping me to rally support and all.
