Morning World!



Today is officially the start of my exam papers.

PR2202 - Cosmetics and Perfumes

Don't ask me why the hell I am taking this module.

I'M NOT GAY. THANK YOU.

Its a breadth module, or in other words, an elective module.

And I am approaching it with mixed feelings.

One of eager anticipation,

Another of fearful reluctance.

Anticipation, because with the drawing closer of examinations,

It just means that the HK trip is nearing too! ^^

And I am really really really looking forward to it,

Coz it's the first time I'm going on a holiday with so many friends and B! =P

Reluctance, because, to put it simply, who likes having exams?

To be honest, I enjoy the process of studying for exams. (Yes, so contradictory, I know)

Simply because during Exam period, I don't have to attend school!





Not that I hate school though.

It's just that life in Uni is kinda boring,

Lacking that "classroom atmosphere" where everyday,

You see the same group of friends in the same class.

I would very much prefer that, as it's easier to forge new friendships.

Which brings me to my point that, even though I'm approaching the end of my 2nd year,

I have hardly made any new good friends, except for a handful.

The system in school is such that its tough trying to take the same modules together.

Even when you manage to take the same modules,

The next obstacle would be balloting for the same tutorial group

And then the same project group [-____-']





For instance, serene heng and I took two modules together this semester,

But I hardly see her around in school, save for a couple of lectures,

Which is after taking outta consideration, those lectures that we skipped individually =)

No waaaaaait, I took 3 modules with serene heng.

And for all 3 modules, our tutorial and project groups all different.

No wonder we don't talk see and talk to each other as much.

And I only see cath and yuyang in PR2202 lectures.

I do miss TS practicals!!! =(

Miss the times when we had fun laughing at each other reciting our lines.

Miss the practices that we had outta school.

Miss the DAISO-ing.

TS, I must say, is one of the best modules I have taken in NUS.




Communications & New Media is just another major with a fanciful name,

And describable with a single word.


OVERRATED.

B and I met up with serene to do some catching up =)

And we decided to do it over dinner @Manhattan Fish Market - Clark Quay.






































This is a very impromptu post.

At this very moment, 2 girls are furiously devouring each other's lips, with their hands eagerly exploring each other's body, seemingly oblivious to the wide-eyed stares coming from those sitting around them. Yes, all these happening in broad daylight, in a public area, undeterred by the curious looks of fellow muggers/just chilling out peeps, right across the table where I'm sitting, trying hard not to be distracted by such openly grotesque (the two girls were ugly - EWWW!) homosexual behaviour. Damn turn off. Probably, if the lesbian couple were two pretty or at least, hot, females, the whole scene wouldn't have disgusted onlookers as much.


I swear I was damn tempted to snap a picture with my phone.

However, "COWARDLY ME" realised that my handphone camera has that shutter sound which I didn't know how to switch off!

But then again, I'm sure I'm doing everyone's eyes a favour by not posting such gross and disturbing images on my blog. Yup, and I am doing a favour to my blog too, by keep it clean and homosexually-free.

I'm sure most have read about the gay video of two guys screwing the balls outta each other in HDB void decks and lift areas, which was apparently leaked onto the net by these two faggots, quite obviously trying to prove a point - They are gay fags and they are proud of it.

Well, I hope they burn in hell.

For trying to corrupt society with their twisted and perverse mentalities.



I'm no Christian, nor do I adopt the their supposed holy way of life.




But I'm sure God created Adam and Eve in the bible for a reason.

If there's nothing wrong about homosexuality, then I supposed nothing else would ever be wrong again.

This project has really been such a drag, taking such a toll on me every week.

To those who adore and takes delight in using Photoshop, GOOD JOB!

Then this module is definitely something you would wanna take up.

But if you're someone like me,

Who likes Photoshop like how a vegetarian craves for pork,

Then taking this module would be as good as asking you to go bang the wall - head on.

It all started when B's sis told her that many people were asking about her,

And since we were damn bored that day,

We decided to play along and pretend that she was pregnant!!!

Its my neighbours...

Not really neighbours though, same level, but they stay a few units away.

The once odour-free corridor now reeks of BA BU SENG SMELL.














I haven't been updating my blog regularly of late.

And its not because I am too lazy to.

Its just that my life is less happening now.

(not that it was damn happening before la)

I just don't think there's anything "exciting" to share with everyone.



I HARDLY......



I hardly party/club anymore.

I hardly watch midnight movies anymore.

I hardly go out for late night suppers anymore.

I hardly sing K till the wee hours of dawn anymore.

I hardly slack and blabber and drink and play cards at void decks anymore.




You might think that I am complaining about my boring lifestyle changes...

But to be frank, I'm quite satisfied with the unexpected sense of peaceful tranquility.



I feel less tired.

I feel less lethargic.

I feel less inclined to spend $$$$$$$.



That's why you see that my recent posts have always been the same few things.

2. Working at Kiehls
3. Working at some other random events e.g. Nokia Music Parade, SPH

So yeah, I agree with most of you out there.

Had belated 2nd mthsary with B.

Coz she was in states during our 2nd mth.

But we both didn't forget! =P

Still remembered that B called from states just to wish me,

"Happy 2nd Mthsary!!!"

We went to Din Tai Feng for dinner that day.

And ordered two baskets of 10 xiao long baos each.

Anyway, after dinner, it was too late to catch a movie already.

So we went to PS arcade to play "catch catch" =D

After that, we just walked to Selegie to have our Tau Huey and You Tiao.

Then to bugis to train home.

Thursday


It was a damn slack day for me.

Woke up at 2pm. Coz there was no PR2202 lecture.

And i skipped my GEK lecture.

Coz I didn't feel like going =P

Rotted at home doing random stuff till about 5 plus.

Then changed and headed to B's place since we had no plans.



Its been pretty long since we slacked together

Just doing NOTHING of Significance. ^^

Reading people's blogs and listening to songs on Youtube...

And YES, taking pictures! =D

Working at Kiehls has never felt so exhausting till today...

Surprisingly, for this event, I've only worked like TODAY

And I'm already feeling physically and mentally drained =(

I take my hat off the rest who had been there since Friday,

Enduring the irritable, scorching heat and extremely humid climate.




I hate the feeling of having beads of sweat forming on my forehead

and then trickling down my cheeks and then my neck.

Leaving that awful sticky, cold and clammy sensation on the skin.

How many of you would rather freeze to death, then to get torched to death?

Work was damn exhausting today...

I was supposed to go for my 8am lecture today,

Well.............."fortunately" for me, I've got "excellent" project mates!

(hahahaha I mean this in a NICE, and yet, NOT-SO-NICE way, you'll understand why soon...)



Because at 9am today, I received a call from my project mate, Eileen Guan.

And here's how the conversation went....




Me : hellooo??? (still feeling damn groggy and sleepy)



Eileen : Hey! You are still sleeping???



Me : Yaaaaahhh...Very tired...cannot wake up...why leh???



Eileen : OMG!!! We have presentation today leh!!! (in a panicking tone)

You are supposed to present the Home Page and Introduction part!



Me : Huhhh? But I thought our presentation is during our tutorial slot?

(feeling confused...) How come it's during lecture today???



Eileen : You didn't see the email that I've sent out??? I requested to Mr. Low

to push up our presentation time slot to the lecture. (sounding quite serious)



Me : (still feeling damn groggy) Huh? Really ah? ZOMG! I really didn't check my

mail for the past two days leh =(



In the background, I could hear Nazeera asking James to take over my part and

present the "Introduction and the Home" segment of our Webquest project...


Eileen : Yah...You wait, I ask James to tell you...(hands phone over to James)



James : Hey Gary...You didn't see the email ah?



Me : No lehhh....(feeling quite guilty already) =(



James : Nvm lah...its okay, I think i can take over your part for you...

You wait ah...Nazeera wanna talk to you...(passes phone to Nazeera)



Nazeera : Gary! You can rush down in the next 6 mins?



Me : (ZOMG) Huh serious ahhh? We really presenting today???

Is it possible to ask Alfred to push it back slightly later? I rush down now...



Nazeera : oh....its okay lah...Its our turn soon, we go prepare already...



Eileen : (takes back her phone) Dun worry ok, we help you explain to Alfred.

You can go back to sleep already =) hahaaha bubbye!

After she hung up, I went to wash up and prepare to rush down to school.
