Hello everyone!

It's 3.37am now and I just got home from playing soccer.

Been having late nights for two days in a row.
Caught the Champions league final yesterday with Sam and Fish
Disappointing match for Man U fans.
Anderson was a bag of nerves, so was Van Der Sar.
In short, they were outplayed and outclassed by Barca,
who clearly deserved to be crowned Euro Champs last night.

Sigh.

Anyway, soccer today was pretty tiring, but fun.
Caught up with army platoon mates, Yong Teng and Quan Bao
who also played together with us at East Coast Cage =)
Havent seen them for pretty long, esp Quan Bao.
We were initially slated to play for 2 hrs, 11pm to 1am.
But eventually, we had 5 teams rotating to play and thus,
we extended our game for another hour, 2am!

It was pretty good kicking around in the middle of the night
But I still feel that the courts at FICO is much much better.
The atmosphere is also much more "alive", with music blasting.
The music at the East Coast Cage cease at about 1am =(
And everyone seemed so lethargic and dead due to the silence.
The courts were also half filled after 1am - lifeless.

I think the people in Jurong are more passionate about soccer.
Coz even in the wee hours of the night, FICO would be fully booked.
And surprisingly, FICO's booking rates are slightly cheaper, $80/hr.
As compared to East Coast Cage where they charge a whopping $90/hr.

Midnight soccer is really a good way to relieve pent up stress.
And yeah, also a good way to work out those lazy fat limbs of mine.
Surprisingly, I feel very awake now, even as I'm blogging.
I just fucking played 3 hrs of soccer and I am wide awake!!!!

Nvm, guess I'll be doing what I do best tmr - sleep in till noon.
Meeting up with Sam, tric and fish they all to Yum Cha tmr.
Been so long since we had dim sum together, looking forward to it =)
Probably join Baby in the evening with her clique for ice cream at

UDDERS! ^^

Heard raving reviews from friends about their ice cream!
Hopefully their ice cream lives up to its sound reputation ^^

B drove me to lakeside mrt to meet bao before going for soccer.
Today was our 4th monthsary, and we shared a cake from Bakerzinn.
No fancy celebration, but everything was good. Cake was yummy.
She wasnt supposed to eat the cake, but she had to eat it.

Confusing huh?

Coz it was a chocolate cake, and B still had flu and sore throat.
But she had to eat it, coz I bought it for her =)
It was bitter chocolate, but somehow, the cake tasted SWEET =)
Wanted to buy B's fav Oreo Cheesecake, but that one too HEATY
Next time ok? When you recover, I buy for you ok? =D

Alright, I guess I should be going to bed.
Keeping late nights causes pimples to pop out!

YAY!!!

I've got an advertisement on my blog this week!

Means I've got to blog more often this few days! =)

Need money man! And more job lobangs!!!

Its been a really tiring couple of days last weekend.

Contrary to what I had thought, I was hired along with tric for the F1 party event last Saturday. tric got her position as a cashier, while I got what I wanted to try, BARTENDING. However, tric pulled out last minute, perhaps due to cold feet (: and she got her bf, Sam to replace her. He must be the happiest boy that night, coz all the other cashiers were girls. Happy right, mambojambo? LOL bet you were damn high when you reported for work, free eye candy all night!

Anyway, it was effing tiring work that day. All the bartenders had to report for work at 3pm to help prepare for the setting up of the place @F1 Pit Building. It was quite an ulu place, where you have to walk beyond the SG flyer to get there. Really damn fucking faaaaarrrr! I walked there from cityhall -.-

Then, when I reached, I was initially rather surprised to see a VERY BARE building. I can't see how this place was gonna magically transform into a club that very night. Little did I know that I'm gonna be very much involved in its transformation. HOW SAD.

Coz it was fucking tiring.
Exhausting work.

We literally lug all the furniture, endless crates of booze, countless boxes of mixers and giant colemans which contained the ice packs up to the 3rd level. Seriously, setting up a party is really labour-intensive. $12 per hr for that 5 hrs really aint worth it. Its literally hardcore coolie work, and I feel like a bangala for that 5 hrs :( Reminds me of my time back in the army -"SAI GANG" (loosely translate = "shit work").

Anyway, Bartending was really fun! Although I got a couple of drink orders mixed up initially ^^ Hehehehehe and the guys and girls were really very helpful! I've met very nice people such as Sanjiv and Ben, who slogged with me through the torturous 5 hrs of set up. Pity I didn't get to get their contacts. Ben is the typical Mr.Nice guy who finds it hard to say "No" to anyone who needs help, while Sanjiv is the funny one, yet as willing to lend a helping hand as Ben. We had such a great time mixing drinks, at the same time, yelling and shouting at each other to replenish our "vodkas" and "jagermeister", while removing beer bottle caps for the partying crowd. The girls who were supposed to help us take orders were really great too! Jerlyn and Joanne and, oops, I forgot the "korean" girl's name! Hahahaha ^^ Jerlyn and Joanne eventually came into our bar counters and helped with the drink mixing, "lifting a load of work off my shoulders", or so she says (refer to my tagboard).

Joanne was naughty though. She kept mixing drinks for herself and drinking them on the sly. Not that she wasn't allowed to. Its just that she was getting kinda drunk and tipsy, and starting to blabber nonsensical stuff to us and giggling away. So, all of us had to keep watch over her, and grab drinks outta her hand. And when customers ordered drinks from her, it was really a sight to behold. HAHAHAHAHA ^^ it was practically impossible for her to get any drinks right when she got high. Vodka redbull becomes Vodka cranberry!!! It was hilarious watching her take orders and mumbering weird stuff to the customers! =D

And Sam kept asking me to make him drinks!!! That ass had so many requests! Want Jager laaa, want whisky coke laaa, want water laaa, want this want that! Neh Neh! Next time he become bartender then he know how fucking busy and tiring it is, despite all the fun! =P I didnt wanna bother the rest to pass me the jager laaaa, it was all the way at the other end of the bar looo. Lucky Sanjiv very nice, he overheard sam asking me, then he went to ask the other side to pass the Jagermeister. Eh sam, u fucking lucky lo, he pass you WHOLE BOTTLE leh.

Anyway, the event was supposed to end at 6am, but it stretched till about 7am before the most of the partying crowd left. By then, I was totally exhausted. My shoes were alcohol-and-beer soaked. We still had to pack up the leftover alcohol and mixers back into the store. The aftermath of the bar counter resembled a tsunami-wreckage, covered by bottle caps, beer bottles and sorts. Clearing up was tiring shit. It was worse than setting up, because by now, all of us had worked for the past 16 hrs and our bodies were aching from all the heavy moving in the afternoon.

Jerlyn and Joanne had already left at 6.30am, coz they were only required to stand and look pretty from 10pm to 6am. Their friend, Audrey too. I was actually quite shocked when they knew my name and who I was. When I asked them how they knew, they told me,

"You are Gary from the 校花校草 right?"

o.O I'm really surprised that people even know about Hey Gorgeous 2009.

And Jerlyn was like telling them,

"Yah, his gf from my school, Ngee Ann Poly one, her name is Ferynn" -.-

Anyway, back to where I was, we were clearing up the mess that the partying crowded left, and time seemed to pass damn fast. And then, something brought a smile to my face. I was checking my hp for unreplied smses and missed calls, when I decided to give B a call.

Guess where she was?

ON HER CAR, on the AYE!!! AT 6.30am!!!

She's coming to pick me up and go for breakfast!!!

HOW SWEET RIGHT???!?!??!?!

What a surprise! ^^ LOVE YOU B!!!!!!

Right now, she's having a sudden bout of flu, and her usual moodswing, while I am blogging this long post. Guess she's tired out, having had a long day at the office.

Bored

I'm still watching Boys Over Flowers right now.

One of the places that I've never been to before.

Holiday Blues

The holidays have since started two weeks back
and everyday seemed so carefree and relaxing
Yet there's this tinge of the occasional aimless-ness setting in.

I wonder if its due to the lack of activities derived from school
or its because everyone else seems to have found a holiday job
while I'm slacking my holidays away, unable to get one

Well, to look at things from a positive angle and comfort myself
I choose to take delight in sleeping till 12 everyday, at least
That's the best thing about holidays, aint it? =)

Waking up at mid-day not only saves you from racking your brains over what to do when you wake up every morning. It also helps you to save money. Breakfast and Lunch becomes the meal familiar with all holiday-stay-home-bummers simply known as Brunch. 2 meals for the price of 1, cool hur? I keep telling myself to wake up at 10am every morning, just so that I can get my lazy ass outta my house and my lead-heavy legs to jog to the park behind where I stay. Apparently, such actions require motivation. Loads of it. For instance, a hot babe jogging with you would pretty much suffice. But sadly to say, the chances of hot babes jogging at the park behind my place are practically zero.

Wait, do hot babes even go jogging?

I have never seen a hot female jogger before in my entire life.

Okay, that's besides my point.

My point is...

There's really nothing much to do this holidays, and even if there is, there's no motivation to do it!

How pathetic can one get?

Someone please get me a job. Anyone got job lobang please call me k =)

Anyway, on a side note, I've been watching the Korean Version of Meteor Garden.

And to be honest, its really so much better than the original Taiwanese one.

Girls are hotter. Guys better looking.

I haven't been updating this blog recently.

The Lazy-ness in me *sighs*

Anyway, I caught Star Trek the movie with B last saturday.

Quite frankly, I was never a fan of movies of such genres.

Think Star Wars *EEEW*

But this time round, I decided to cast aside my doubts
And give it a chance, since everyone has been
Giving this movie surprisingly, raving reviews.

And sure enough, I wasn't disappointed.
In fact, Star Trek far exceeded my expectations!

It was FUCKING AWESOME! =D

And I think Spock is damn cool! LOL

Okay, I know this might seem damn GAY.

But his hair is really effing CUTE! =D

And those brows make me wanna tweak them back into position!

You know what I mean?

Like pull the corners downwards???

Anyway, it was B's first visit to Tiong Bahru Plaza.

Happy Mother's Day!

This post is way overdue, I know.

But I'm really very lazy to sort out the pictures.
So I simply grabbed these collages from B's blog =D

Mother's Day dinner with B's family was rather impromptu.
That day, I went shopping with B's family @ City Plaza
And her mum dropped us off in the evening at Vivo
Coz I wanted to bring her to somewhere to have dinner.

We had barely settled down, when B's mum called.
Apparently, she wanted us to join them for dinner.
And told us to cab down to Taman Jurong.
Dinner was at Thai Sharkfin's Village =)

I've never been there before though.
Its the place where the old Tang Dynasty was.
Really located in the extreme west -.-
But apparently, the place is always packed on such occasions.
When we reached there, it was already full house.
I think B's mum made a reservation thru her connections.

That's when I told B, "See, connections very impt."
The world is just so unfair.
That's why we need friends to look our for one another! =)

Ogays, I digressed too much already.

My family had ours the next day!

Dinner was at G7 Seafood @geylang.
Famed for its claypot frog legs and Zhi Char!
My sisters and I decided to give Mum a treat.
Didnt really take any pictures during dinner.
The frog legs were yummy, and deer meat *SLURPS*

After dinner, it was pretty early still.
So we headed to Suntec for shopping
And we went for some ice cream waffle fondue.
I think I can DRINK CHOCOLATE =)

Flowing down one's throat is pure ESTACY.

After that, we went for a stroll at Esplanade.
And we took pictures by the Bay.
It started off as a normal family picture.
Then I had no idea how it evolved to a camwhoring session.

My youngest sis was the first to try wearing it.

Baby's Graduation - 12/05/09

Atttended B's graduation ceremony at Ngee Ann yesterday.
We woke up at 6.3o in the morning as B had to reach sch by 8am.
Her sister, Ting, also wanted to attend, so she came along with us.
The traffic was really bad, and there was quite a jam at Clementi
So B dropped me off at Clementi as she was running late already.
I went home and unpacked my bag and bathed and changed.
I think I was damn fast in washing up -.-
Coz B wanted me to see her receive her scroll! =D
As she was among the first few rows to collect.

I managed to reach by 9.25am (the ceremony started at 9am)
And boy, I was glad that I reached the place late.
Coz the Principal was approaching the end of her speech

Can't imagine sitting through half an hour of the boring speech.

At the graduation ceremony...

The ceremony was really a long torturous wait.
Each student had to go on stage to collect their certs.
And there were like, 200+ students?!??!?!?!
And I couldnt find ting, coz I reached there late.
So it was quite boring to sit alone.
I saw quite a few familiar faces though =)

I was damn relieved when all the ceremony came to an end. ^^
The food at the reception was still pretty okay, quite nice!
And they even had Peking Duck wraps! Only ate one =(

Then I bumped into B on the way out.
She was going to take pictures with her classmates.
So I went to look for Ting first, and went to get food.

We went to look for B at the entrance after that.

Met up with Cath and Rach for dinner in town.
And I was damn late. Not my fault, really =(
I swear it was the peak hour traffic from AMK.
By the time I reached, they'd already finished dinner.

Then we hopped onto Shaun's cab from Wisma.
And we made our way down to Zouk at 8.50pm.
We reached and Zouk was still kinda empty.
So we decided to get our drinks at Wine Bar first.

Then we went to some couch and seats to chill

Random update

I know I shouldn't be watching this now...

But I just can't help it.

爱就宅一起 is really quite addictive.

Contrary to reviews from skeptics out there, its really quite a decent show.

Cheesy as the storyline might be,

Love between a has-been pop star and a stay-home girl (宅女）is possible,

Despite them living in seemingly contrasting worlds.

This week's episode is really heartwarming and touching.

Especially the song "默默“。

I THINK ITS DAMN NICE! =D

Not to mention the hilarious imitation of the 宅女's hairdo towards the end.

HAHAHAHA! ^^

I know the recent bout of swine flu has got everyone worried.

Anyway, the situation in HK appears to be getting under control le.

Metropark Hotel has already been quarantined for a week.

As if this is not draconian enough.

Bad news for those stuck in that hotel.

Good news for those planning to go HK.

Coz it simply means the any risk of potential virus spread

Is contained, or at the very least, minimised.

Seriously, this issue of the H1N1 pandemic is being overblown.

Please stop listening to and spreading rumours.

Extreme paranoia is the last thing that I need on my HK itinery list.

HAPPY LABOUR DAY EVERYONE!

Hope your day was good.

Mine's pretty alright. Started off on a positive note.

Took a couple of pictures for B for some "project".

Shall reveal it soon, in time to come =)

It's our "baby" that's arriving soon!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!

Anyway, we went to have our haircut today at the West Coast area.

B trimmed and coloured her hair,

While I had mine razored!!! =(

I told the auntie not to cut the sides, but she turned dear ear to me.

Don't really fancy my new haircut.

But B has been really nice, kept consoling and assuring me that

SHE STILL LOVES ME NO MATTER WHAT! *touched* ^^ LOL

Kept telling me that my hair will grow back de. Thanks B! =)

We headed to Iluma, the new shopping mall at Bugis.

It was pretty big, but not all the shops are opened yet.

Loads of dining options over there, but other than that,

Its basically pretty much empty, the shops, I mean.

So we headed home after walking around Bugis.

B bought a pair of geeky specs.

And I bought B a top that she really like.

And I think its pretty sweet too =) Low cut some more. LOL

Anyway. We did something funny when we got back to B's place.

She borrowed my shirt and turned it into a BF SHIRT!

Yeap, that's my shirt that she's wearing! ^^

Quite pretty right? It fits her perfectly!

She's gonna wear it for her outing with her GFs tmr! =D

And I like her new hairstyle.

I like it when she ties up her hair in a ponytail.

Then we got bored and wanted to try something funny.
