| Thursday, July 30, 2009 12:27 AM Happy 6th Month Baby! It was already 11pm when the movie ended, and before we headed back home, I suddenly craved for Laksa. That was the most satisfying meal of the day. Serious. It was that good. I guess I'm a very heartland person, and such food really appeal to me. Or maybe the food at Black Opal was really bad. I dunno. I would very much like to think that its the former. As I'm blogging, I'm actually craving for Mong Kok Dim Sum in Geylang, the Fried Beancurd Skin, the Egg Tarts, the Har Gow...*HUNGRY* ):We had a pretty enjoyable evening last night, and finally, we went to The Jewel Box atop Mount Faber for our dinner. There were a couple of dining places there, and we eventually decided on the indoor fine dining concept - The Black Opal. We didn't managed to get a picture of the place itself, coz the area was really quiet and it felt really weird to be snapping away with our camera at that point in time. Thinking back, we should have chosen outdoor alfresco dining - Sapphire - since both served the same menu. At least we could talk more freely in the open area while dining, not forgetting to mention, taking in the panoramic view that Mount Faber has to offer. Anyway, here's a picture of what the entrance of The Jewel Box looks like. ![]() And we were seated in that Glass Box up there. ![]() Pretty awesome huh? They even have valet parking available, although I think there isn't really a need for one. B and I initially thought the weather was gonna be warm, so we opted for the indoor Black Opal. Anyway, the food was nice, but not fantastic. Its really not worth paying that kind of money for the food they have, but I guess you pretty much paying for the Ambience. The only thing that appealed to me was the ambience. The place was quiet and serene, and perfect for couples to celebrate their anniversaries. But food-wise, you'll be disappointed. The $3 laksa that I tao-paoed from Pioneer Mall for supper, left a deeper impression of me than the food I had at the Black Opal. Baby had Seafood Pizza, which was disappointingly average, while I had some Braised Beef thingy which tasted like the usual Beef Brisker that you can get from food courts -.- Enough said. The food is decent, but not definitely good enough to warrant the prices that they are commanding. We both shared grilled wings, which tasted like baked buffalo wings. $15 for 6 pieces of mid joint wings. Kinda on the pricey side huh? Definitely not worth it. There wasn't any special sauce to go with it. Shall show the pictures of the dishes when I get them from B. Nonetheless, the ambience still made up for the disappointing food, and I'm glad B had a great evening. Hopefully that makes up a little for the lousy Bday celebration she had with me. After our dinner, we joined the Kiehls peeps for our free movie tickets to a special preview of "The Proposal". Had won a pair of free tickets from taking part in a online photo submission contest organised by Amica. So coincidental right, the movie screening falls on our 6th month! How apt! =) Just the perfect movie for our special day! ![]() I had no idea how this movie contest thingy became a Kiehls affair, but with William, the contest junkie, around, we were bound to have extra tickets! LOL! =) And BOY! The show was splendidly awesome, peppered with constant witty and exhilarating sarcasm exchanged between the characters, making all of us literally roll with laughter in our seats. I swear B laughed damn loudly into my ears on at least 3 occasions! You gotta catch this when it comes out in Cinemas, don't miss it! Here's a trailer of the movie Well, it was a simple but wonderful day, and I look forward to more of such dates with B. She said she wanted a decade date with me in her blog, (Click here to navigate to her page) but I told her that a decade is too short, I want a Millenia date! =) She's such a darling, even blogging about our story and how we initially started, from how we met during the first day of filming to our first date. Go to her blog if you're really interested in our story! http://fer-ynnie.blogspot.com
Alright, I shall end my post here. Oh yah, before I go, I wanna share something... . . . . . . . . . . . . BABY BAKED ME MUFFINS! ^^ Its Vanilla and Chocolate Chips! I am really touched by her efforts, Coz she has never cooked or baked for anyone before. I AM THE FIRST! =D YAY!!! I tried it already, and believe it or not, It is not chocolatey or vanilla-ey but... SWEET!!! HAHAHAHA okays I can go sleep already! Nights everyone! =D Monday, July 27, 2009 12:08 PM Random Updates School CORS Bidding has started again....sigh This is one of the hateful periods that I dread in NUS. The need to stay online has never been more crucial, Waiting by the laptop just to bid for modules for the upcoming semester. Nevermind, I only have to do this two more times, And it will be all over. Graduating in a year. Oh how time flies... It feels only like yesterday that I started my journey in NUS I remember how Fransca guided me through the bidding system And now, she has graduated. That's one less friend in school already. I miss cath. She's been in the US ever since hols started. But she's gonna be back soon =) I think I miss TS. I know I've said it before. But I really do miss TS practicals. Its one of the most memorable times I've had in school. I kinda regret choosing Communications & New Media as my major. Its not as interesting as it sounds. But oh well, one more year to go. Afterall, the specialization of study doesnt really matter, Unless you're talking about working in the banking industry. I haven't a clue about what I would like to do when I graduate But I would prefer a job that allows me to interact with people I can't imagine staring at the desktop and files everyday I guess I'm just more of a social creature than others. I need to talk to people and people to talk to me ^^ Kiehl's @ION Orchard 24th July Was working for Kiehls last friday at ION orchard My god, ION is damn bloody fucking big! o.O Seriously, this is the new happening place to be in town. You can just shop there for the entire day and skip everywhere else in town Coz practically all the hip retails stores in town can be found in ION alone. Kiehls too! ^^ The new Kiehl's Outlet at ION - Orchard! See how much fun we had at the ION opening! =D ![]() This time, there's the Kiehl's "LIVE" station Where everyone can follow Kiehl's facebook and twitter Not only that, the first 1000 peeps to add Kiehl's on facebook STANDS TO WIN A COMPLIMENTARY DELUXE SAMPLE!!! Its that simple to win, so why wait any longer? Add Kiehl's Singapore in Facebook and Twitter now! =) We had fun working that day, taking polaroids and all. I think I prefer working at the ION than anywhere else. I used to enjoy working at TANGS. But the unbearable weather has definitely taken its toll on me. I hate the hot and humid weather that we all have to endure at TANGS Now, its ION first, Raffles City second ^^ HAHAHAHA Anyway, B came down to find me after work. WITH HER MUM! She said her mum wanted to come along to look look and see see! O.o Its kinda weird if her mum joins the rest of us for dinner. So in the end, B went with her mum for dinner in town first While I joined the kiehls guys and sarah for dinner at Marina Square We went to book the bowling lanes first before heading for dinner And B came down after her dinner to join us in Bowling =) Not bad lah, she is a SLOW and STEADY Bowler. "Ball travels very slow, but knock down alot of pins" type Been pretty long since we all last bowled together. So it was quite fun relishing those bowling moments ^^ We cabbed home since we had a $10 cab voucher But the cab driver was an asshole! He took the damn fucking long way back to Jurong. Pissed off. Lucky that day I was in a good mood. If not I sure Fuck him upside down. The cab fare was a shocking $31 plus midnight charges leh! From Marina to Jurong where got so much? zzZZ Updates on Happy On a side note, on to happier things! ^^ Happy knows how to obey two commands now! "SIT" and "DOWN" She's really damn adorable, except the times when she gets overly excited And she starts to snap at your fingers, thinking its one of her toys -.- And when she does that, I will smack her with rolled up newspapers! Then she will whimper and cower on the ground. LOL I think the next thing to teach her is "BANG BANG" Then she has to pretend to lie down, dead ^^ That would be totally AWESOME. Still working on it...HAHAHAHA But I'm sure she will learn it soon, she's really intelligent! And did I mention, we bought Happy a Mercedes for her Bed. Its actually a dog bedding that comes in the form of a Pink Sports Car! Haven't really took a picture of it, shall upload once we do! =P Tmr is our 6mthsary together! <3> Thursday, July 23, 2009 4:14 PM Recently, news of a Singapore Malay model,Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, who was caught drinking beer at a nightspot in Malaysia has been making the waves on our shores. I'm sure most of you who have read or learned about this in the news would be equally alarmed. Apparently, Malaysia has a two track legal system, whereby civil courts operate along side state based judicial courts, which tries Muslims who commit religious offences. Disturbing, I must say. I'm real glad that I'm born in Singapore and I'm not a Muslim. At least, Singapore is a country governed by rationality and level-headedness. Ask yourselves, how many of you have actually witness a Malay/Muslim consuming alcoholic beverages in Singapore, and yet no one arrests them? Does the Islamic Law not apply in Singapore's context? Well, on the contrary, it does. Muslims are not supposed to drink beer, and the older generation of Muslims definitely frown upon such unruly behaviour of their younger generation. Look at the growing Malay community in clubs and nightspots. Recall how Ministry of Sound had their Shuffle Night? Shuffling is a very "Malay" thingy for their dancing style in clubs. And do these Malays drink orange or cranberry juice in club? Seriously, I doubt so. Try going to Double O on R&B nights. You might think that you have stumbled into Geylang Serai. And look at Zouk. Previously, you would only see a Malay clubber occasionally, usually they are the minority in a clubbing group. But ever since MOS folded and ceased operations, clumps of malay clubbers have been appearing in Zouk. Yeap, and now Butter Factory. Surely, they don't consume juices at these clubs, right? But why is it that the Malays drinking at well-known waterholes in Singapore are never arrested for drinking? Simply because, the Singapore government is sane enough to not create a fuss over such "religious offences", and since Singapore is a multi-racial country, we do not enforce the Islamic laws in our judicial courts. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against them consuming alcohol in Singapore. To me, anyone is free to drink what they like. I'm all for them drinking when they party. Afterall, what's a party without alcohol? I just don't get the fuss over the arrest of the Singaporean model. Surely, malays/Muslims in Malaysia do drink when they party right? I guess the notion of, "you can do anything, just don't get caught" comes into play here. Here are some links on the case. Beer Drinking Model faces Canning in Malaysia 1 Beer Drinking Model faces Canning in Malaysia 2 Model to be canned for Drinking Beer in Nightclub 6 strokes of the cane leh!!! SG Forum Some commented that she should denounce her faith, and say that she's a christian or something, to escape the religious charges. But apparently, apostacy is almost impossible in Malaysia. You can probably denounce your muslim faith in Singapore, and risk incurring the wrath of your relatives and friends. But in Malaysia, its much worse. If you are born a muslim in Malaysia, good luck. May Allah bless you. I had JC friends telling me that if a Muslim consumes pork, they will burn in hell when they die. I was shocked when he told me that. One thing that surprises me is, I've had Muslims friends who eats pork! And baby's Indo maid also eats pork. Bak Kut Teh!!! For your info, the model is gonna be canned! She's a woman leh. How can cane a lady? =( Check this out! It's a video of a canning session in Malaysia, taken form an online source. No joke lo. The skin on the ass splitted open at the 1st whip. 6 strokes. I wonder if she can survive the canning. She can never wear a bikini ever again, that's for sure. Imagine the headlines, How cool is that? Its tragic okay. So not cool at all. I really feel for her. Hope she wins her appeal for her case. Meanwhile, Singaporeans, let's support our fellow countrymen. Someone should start a Facebook thingy for Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno. I will definitely join if there is one. But I don't wanna start la. Later I kena from the authorities. Last week I already kena a Traffic Summon for jay walking. Nah Bei. Sibei SUAY. Our shores too safe already, no criminals to catch, so now catch commoners who break traffic rules and jay walk. There was really no fucking cars in the nearest 200m, and yet we cannot cross. Must wait for "green man" to appear. Thankfully, I was caught with a whole big bunch of equally SUAY pedestrains, so I feel better not being the only one. I still remember the guy in blue uniform telling us in a very scripted and well rehearsed manner, "Do you know that it is very dangerous to cross the road when the lights are red?" Seriously, I so wanted to point out to him that there were no cars anywhere near us in the range of 200m, but i kinda figured that it's pretty pointless, and I might even incur his wrath and he might charge me for obstruction of justice. 无奈. HAIZ. His name was Abdul something, I vaguely remember. Fuck. He looks like he drinks beer -.- Disclaimer: This post was prepared in good faith, and I, in no way, have nothing against Malays who drink in Singapore =) Readers should therefore be aware that the position stated by this web site is subject to change without prior notice, and the owner reserves its right to do so. Apologize wholeheartedly should this be deemed offensive to anyone. Support Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno!!! Support Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno!!! Support Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno!!! Realised that we did not really take much pictures of the event. HAHAHAHA all pictures of ourselves. Only Serene brought cam. So we only managed to snap a few pictures =) Didn't managed to get a group photo with kiehls guys too As we were all assigned all over the venue. Overall, we had a pretty fun time working. But the kids were kinda scary. So noisy -.- I guess all kids are the same HAHAHAHA ![]() The next day, B and I were supposed to go for a free trial for Spa. Apparently TRUE SPA called me and offered me a free trial But I checked online for reviews and guess what I found out? The reviews consumers gave were horrendous! True Spa apparently sold spa packages to people But they always make it so hard to book appointments. So in the end, people who paid for their service and facilities Actually never ever get to use the services in the package. SCAMMERS. I totally hung up on the person when she called. LOL ^^ Eventually, we had a change of plans We decided to go to HortPark !!! Visitor Information HortPark is a one-stop gardening hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting. It is a knowledge hub for plants and gardening and provides the platform for the industry to share best practices and showcase garden designs, products and services. This 23-hectare regional park in South-Western Singapore is also a park connector, connecting Telok Blangah Hill Park to Kent Ridge Park. Not only that, this park goes all the way to Mount Faber. As a gardening hub, HortPark aspires to nurture a gardening culture by focusing on 3 key areas of: 1.learning and education; 2.industry partnership and collaboration; 3.events and activities. HortPark has interactive and fun-filled programmes for learning and education. There is also a calendar of events and activities to generate and sustain long-term interest, enhance awareness and encourage industry partners to seek out new concepts, products and technologies. Yeah! So here we are at HortPark! And we guess who did we bring along??? ^^ ![]() Yeah you guessed right! We brought Happy too! ![]() Cute right? But she damn useless -.- She's afraid of heights lo. zzzZZ The flooring of the platform are made of see-through steel plates, And one can actually see the trees and bushes right beneath As such, Happy was afraid to walk on the steel platform. WE HAD TO CARRY HER. Then, we saw a family of monkeys raiding a rubbish chute. One even had a baby clinging onto her as she rummages through the bin! ![]() Some pictures that we took! ![]() We finally reached our destination HENDORSON WAVES! Total distance = 2.4km And the trail actually stretches further, all the way to Mt Faber! Imagine us walking back after that T.T Total distance = 4.8km But the view was really worth the walk laaa. Its quite a nice place to relax and chill with friends. We even saw some people having a picnic over there. ![]() If you have the time, visit HortPark okays! ^^ But you should probably drive to Telok Blangah instead. Then you won't have to walk so much =D Have a great day everyone! Bye bye! ^^ Sunday, July 19, 2009 10:07 PM I'm back! =D
Worked with Kiehls guys on friday. More Kiehls guys again... And Serene and Linda and baby on Saturday! First time working with baby and serene. Was at a Starhub Pyjamas party event at National Museum. Woah there's really alot of rowdy kids at the event. The way they scream at Spongebob & Patrick will surely make you go bonkers. Pictures are with Serene, shall upload them when i get it from her. She say I handsome leh. Awesome. ^^ Thank you ah Serene. LOL give you my pay okay? Anyway, just got back from Hort Park today And visited the Hendorson Waves =) Hot and tiring, but interesting place to be at. Shall update with pictures once i get them from bb... I'm really tired now, gonna turn in soon. Weekdays gonna start again. Let's jiayou for the week and look forward to weekends! ^^ Thursday, July 16, 2009 12:41 AM Desaru Part 2 Continuing from where I left off... After our trip to the Ostrich Farm, we went to search for the Fish Farm. Apparently, the Fish Spa thingy is not located at a Fish Farm But it was hidden away in a little corner, right next to a temple. And guess what? IT WAS FOC - FREE OF CHARGE! ^^ We just had to give some 填油钱 afterwards. Most of us had never tried this before, letting fishes nibble out feet. And we were half excited and half afraid at the same time =) Not knowing what to expect until the fishes rushed to our feets! It was so damn tingly and itchy! LOL Especially when your feet kena "attack" by an entire drove of fishes! Apparently, these fishes are supposed to nibble away at our dead skin Which makes one's feet smoother to the touch. Interesting. I think my feet was smoother after all that nibbling. Wanna touch? ^^ ![]() After our Fishy experience, we headed back to the Ostrich Farm for dinner. The owner of the Farm had earlier persuaded us to return for a meal. Which of coz included Ostrich MEAT! o.O Meal was pretty scrumptious, consisting of crabs, prawns & lobster. Malaysia's Seafood is really dirt cheap. Must try when you are there. The total bill came up to about RM280 only. Which translates to about SGD110-SGD120. And we had 12 people eating dinner. That's like SGD10 per person. Normal Zhi Char rates in SG. But without all the Seafood definitely. Malaysia only rocks for their SEAFOOD. Other than that, Malaysia is really FTL. Right after dinner, we were rushed off to our hotel at Sebana Resort. WHY THE RUSH, YOU WONDER? Because we all wanted to see fireflies... And to see these lil glowing bugs, we had to take a ferry out to the Kelongs. The last Ferry ride is at 7.30pm. And we finished dinner at 7.30pm! LOL So we basically drove there damn bloody fast. The owner of the Ostrich Farm offered to guide us to our resort And we were sure glad he did, coz the skies were already darkening We wouldn't have been able to find our way there if not for his help. It was really out of the way, yet he still offered to bring us there. Nice guy ^^ When we finally reach Sebana Resort, we immediately rush to the jetty. Life vests were handed around quickly and soon everyone was ready!!! Hopped on to one of the speedboats and off we went to see Fireflies =) ![]() We were about halfway there when it started to drizzle. Then the rain got heavier and heavier...till it started pouring! As the speedboat sped on, it got really cold and the girls started squealing. Eventually, we had no choice but to head back to shore =( LOL look at their gloomy faces in the picture below ![]() Hahahaha B's mum help us took the above picture in our toilet. Their toilet was really nice. Too bad nv take any pictures of it ^^ And after all of us washed and freshened up, we CAMWHORED. They had this really huge mirror near the wardrobe area =) Which we ,of course, FULLY UTILIZED. I had to wear B's cap laaa, coz my hair damn CUI =( I forgot to bring my hair styling clay with me on this trip. We wanted to do something at the resort, but sadly, there's nothing. There was only a small little bar in the entire resort. No KTV. We checked with the lobby reception, no entertainment in the vicinity. If we were to drive, the nearest would be 50KM away, in Kota Tinggi -.- Damn sad, I wonder how Malaysians live their lives. In the end, we borrowed board games from the reception to kill time. We ended up playing monopoly till the wee hours of the morning. I was the first to be Bankrupt lo. B's mum refused to sell me my Train Station. I already had 3 stations, the last one would enabled me to collect 2K each time. Damn sad. In the end, I could only watch painfully as their wealth grew. While mine slowly depleted =( ![]() Next morning, it was time to leave. We were supposed to head to JB for some shopping before going home. Before that, we wanted to visit the Desaru beaches and have breakfast too. Here's some pictures of the suite that we stayed =) This resort is kinda secluded, so there's not much occupants. ![]() We went to the Chalet Area of Desaru Beach for breakfast. Not really interested in the breakfast though. Their nasi lemak sucks. After that, we wasted no time in heading to the beach =) The last time I was in Desaru was in Secondary School, with the Boys Brigade. Back then, the waters were really "WOW-BLUE"!!! Now, it's still cleaner then SG beaches, but less blue. I guess that's what commercialisation does to nature. DE-Naturization Nevertheless, Desaru is still a nice nearby getaway for a short relaxing trip. And, we had fun taking photos along the beach. ![]() We didn't stay for long though. Was on our way to JB - Jusco for shopping. I didn't know there were 2 Juscos -.- Two fucking HUGE-ASS "Vivo City-like" MALLS. Why the hell do they need that? The whole time I was there, I couldnt even find anything to buy. I HATE JUSCO. LOUSY. BOO. City Square still rocks. At least they sell cheap converse there ^^ And the movie tickets only cost RM6 on weekdays. After our tiring and boring shopping at Jusco, we headed for dinner. I have no idea where we were, but the seafood was pretty good. Malaysia is definitely the place to go for Seafood! =) "Any Fresher, You'll have to catch them yourselves!" LOL ^^ ![]() It was back to Singapore after that.
And was really shocked by Happy's new haircut! =) LOL but she's still damn blooody CUTE! hahahhaa...okays, shall end off here. Got to prepare for work at Kiehls@Tangs later. I'll be at Tangs today, from 12.30pm to 9pm! =D If you do drop by, say hi okay! LOL Bubbye! Wednesday, July 15, 2009 7:31 PM Alright...some updates at the moment.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 4:51 PM Desaru Trip - Part 1 ![]() So here are the Desaru Pictures! There's too many photos, so they will be posted in 2 parts. Part 2 shall be uploaded tomorrow =) The very first place we visited was the Fruit farm. It was actually pretty boring over there, nothing interesting. Yes, you can find all kinds of fruits there. But that's all there is. And the weather is damn bloody hot -.- If i could, I would have stayed in the grocery store all day. ![]() There's this HONEY booth outside the fruit store. Apparently, there's a bee hive situated next to it. The sales woman is actually selling its Honey products. And she claims that it has medicinal properties. I thought Honey is only good for making HONEY MILK TEA? ^^ ![]() After visiting the boring Fruit Farm, we headed for Durians! =) Kampung Durians, or so the guy said. Not really fantastic =( Singapore better. ![]() Then, B and her sisters clamoured to visit the Ostrich Farm. And so, there we went! ^^ Smelly, but really interesting! Here are some of the photos that we took at the Farm. They actually displayed a hatching Ostrich at the entrance. And they let us try kaya made from Ostrich's Egg. Cool hur? ![]() To enter further into the Ostrich Farm, we had to get tickets. It costs only RM10 per person, pretty cheap right? Once we were in, we were greeted by this nice old ah pek. And he told us to step on these Ostrich Eggs ^^ See picture below! ![]() Yeah that's the nice old man in the picture below! He told us many interesting facts about Ostriches. It was definitely an enriching experience for us all. We got to get really close to the Ostriches, posing for pictures. And one of the Ostrich even PEE-ED on Baby. Not exactly on her. But because their pee spurts out so sudden and explosively, B inadvertably KENA the emissions from the sudden spurts! HUAT AHHHHHHHH! ^^ Can buy 4D already LOL ![]() There's Putih, the Macque. He is a really playful primate. Trying to grab people from his cage. And he eats SWEETS !!! o.O ![]() When we came out of the enclosure, guess what we saw??? . . . . . . . . . . . . The hatchling has emerged!!!! ![]() Damn cool right??? =) ![]() HAHAHAHA done with Ostrich Farm.
Waiting to go Fish Farm for Fish Biting =) Shall update part 2 tmr! Got to go already! p/s: B just told me that Happy created a mess in her living room. TORE UP TODAYS NEWSPAPERS AND MADE A MESS! LOL ^^ Bubbye! =D Monday, July 13, 2009 1:25 PM YaY!!! ^^ I've just changed my blog song! Its now playing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 說你也一樣愛著我 by張棟樑Heard him sing it live at mediacorp a few days back When I was there with the peeps to support William for Giant Star 2009. He sang really well, and before I knew it, I'm already humming to the tune =) Its the current favourite song now. And I wanna dedicate it to Baby! <3 为什麽你总是闷闷不乐... LOL this is so apt. B always gets emo easily This verse really applies to her ^^ Here's the rest of the lyrics! 为什麽你总是闷闷不乐 世界上只有你独一无二 说你也一样爱着我 我会永远爱着你 Desaru's photos are still in the sending process. 700mb of pictures, which is like 200 plus photos! I think we really camwhored alot HAHAHAHA ^^ Oh yah, HAPPY had a new look - puppy cut Her fur is much shorter now, but still as adorable! At least her eyes are clearly visible now. She's really active and loves to play with people. B and I are still training it to sit down when told. Good progress at the moment =) And she loves 旺仔小馒头!LOL that's her treat! Tonight, B is gonna bring her to Fico. I'm sure she will be the adoration of the girls there. Guys too. That's how cute Happy is! ^^ Alrights. I'm going for lunch. Shall try to blog later when the pictures are done sending over. Cya all! Have a great afternoon! Sunday, July 12, 2009 7:48 PM I'm am back from Desaru with Baby! =) p/s : more pictures after i upload them tonight! Friday, July 10, 2009 12:40 PM Last Friday, B had her early Birthday celebration with her friends. Dinner was at Harry's Gastro bar at Clark Quay. This particular Harry's outlet is rather different. The first level was your usual bar. But when you reached the second, you'll be surprised. Its more of a dining plus chill out place than just a bar alone. ![]() Not forgetting to mention, the food is pretty yummy as well! I had Beef Lasagne, as recommended by the staff. True enough, it was really good. Super Cheesy! And the portion is god damn huge. I didn't manage to finish it -.- B had her grilled salmon steak which was great too! We also ordered their seafood platter to share. Big mistake. We couldnt finish it as well. LOL Had to stuff ourselves damn full with food. And if you wondering why B's holding onto a carrot, NO...she's not a rabbit. Its her Birthday Gift "Ang Bao" CUTE HUR? ![]() ![]() The following day...I brought B to the pet farm in Pasir Ris. We met up with Serene @ SIM and she went along with us =) We were looking at the puppies from the different farms And we finally decided on one. Its a very unique Shih Tzu. With Black and White fur. (most are usually white and brown/grey) B was asking me "what should we name her?" I told her... "I WANNA NAME HER HAPPY! So that whenever you are emo And you play with HAPPY... You will call its name and be less emo =P So that's how Happy's name came about! ![]() Look at her? Doesn't she just look like a rug? We bought hairclips for HAPPY, cute right? I think she kinda looks like the LION DANCE thingy ^^ ![]() It was B's actual birthday on tuesday. Coincidentally, it was also her Orientation day@SIM But she skipped it =) Feel quite bad, coz never really made it a special day for her =( Baby... I know its been a tough week for you at home. But we will sort things out in no time ok? Love you! <3 Managed to buy B her cap! So that she can wear it when sch starts =D We had early Dinner at Clark Quay - Manhattan. MUSSELS ARE OUR FAVOURITE! ![]() Then, we had a complimentary Bday Brownie! Which was really really hard on the inside =( I think they overheated it lo. zzZZ ![]() Yup, these were the happenings of the past week. Went to support William at Mediacorp last night Shall upload pictures soon =) Gtg prepare for tuition already. BYE! ^^ Wednesday, July 8, 2009 4:24 PM Celebrated Baby's Bday yesterday!

Well, if you're wondering who "Happy" is, you can probably find out from our blogs the next 2 days or so, when we disclose her photo =D A sudden change in the weather. Weird. Its extremely cold at home today, and its been pretty long since I had to put on a sweater at home, coz the wind that blows in is freezing enough to make goosebumps appear on B's arms. Saturday was well spent in the East side and I've bought B her Birthday Gift!!! YAY! ^^ After that, we went to Serene's place! Finally! Damn far lo her place! From her room window, you can really see Changi Airport right across, and the view is really serene (pun intended) and almost mesmerizingly Emo. B was definitely delighted on Saturday. But the night was spoilt by none other than her _ _ _. Fill in the blanks yourself. No marks for guessing right. I've lost count of the number of times that her _ _ _ caused her to cry to sleep. Being religious is fine, but superstitious, hell no. I've never been a fan of religion that requires me to do things that make me go beyond what i would normally do. Yes, I respect places of worship, and I believe that all religions lead up to the same God. However, I believe that as long as one is responsible for their individual actions and not plot to hurt someone else, it is good enough. What's most important is our conscience. Living by the words of Fortune Tellers is one of the saddest and most tragic thing that continues to plague numerous insecure people, who rather believe in unfounded prophecies than to trust what's reasonable and logical. They choose to be guided by their insecurities and inferiority, and more often than not, tend to neglect sanity and level-headedness when it comes to making decisions in their lives. As such, they bring inconvenience, and often, pain and misery to their loved ones around them. Despite science and technology being so advanced these days, they still choose to be overwhelmed by superstitions, for instance, like this person's 8 characters (八字)clashes with another, or a person with this horoscope cannot do this or that, otherwise misfortune befall him/her. LAME. I only believe in Karma. Like, if I kill someone, I will not come to a good end (kena bang by car). Somewhere along that line. But surely, not superstitions like those mentioned above. What 八字不合啦,cannot do this, cannot do that. FUCK LA. We only fucking live once. Don't do this, don't do that. Then do what? -.- I don't know why this became a ranting post, but it sure feels good to pour out my greviances here. Now, i'm trying my best to bear with that person. I have to. I don't wanna make things difficult for my loved ones around me. Things are shitty enough for baby. I guess, all I can do now is just to be there for her, and tide through this rough period together with her! =) 加油 B! ^^
We can definitely make it through! 1:25 AM You
