Was at downtown east with Baby last night, at a last minute Chalet stay-over.

We were feeling pretty bored and decided to head towards the recently established E-Hub for a stroll, and perhaps, find something to kill time. E-hub, for those of you who have absolutely no idea where it's located, is the new entertainment complex at Downtown East - Pasir Ris.

This new entertainment complex boasts a Cathay Cineplex, a beautiful 32 lane bowling alley which opens daily till the wee hours of the night, and many more eateries such as New York New York, Full House and even a Hong Kong Cafe which serves piping hot dim sum and other HK delicacies.

Nebo City, is a one stop entertainment outlet for youths which combines Cathay Cineplex, gaming (Zone X) and a cafe. I was really tempted to sign up for a Nebo membership card, at only $69 dollars for a year, which includes a pair of Singapore Flyer Tickets ( that alone cost $56!), and not only that, the Nebo Card entitles one to a privilege rate of $2.50 per bowling game at the Orchid Bowl, which is like half the price of a bowling game at student rate. Besides this, one is also entitled to heavily discounted gaming rates playing the Wii or other console games. Apparently, i was kinda cash strapped at this time of the month, due to paychecks being delayed AGAIN.

Not to worry...I'm still coming for you NEBO CARD! Stop eluding me! You are my only impetus to get onto the money-grabbing Singapore Flyer!

And speaking of Ferris wheel, there is a indoor Ferris Wheel at E!Hub which stands at 25m tall, which is situated within a cafe. For little children, they would be spoilt for choices deciding which is better, the Ferris Wheel, or the indoor amusement park at the 3rd level.

All in all, E!hub has turned the once sleepy Downtown East into a vibrant Family Entertainment Complex whereby families and friends are offered more entertainment options during their stay at the chalets, a stark contrast to the limited choices available in the past (BBQ-ing and JUST BBQ-ing).

So we yaya papaya....and we offered to play till 25 points

And then till 30 points!

Losing Team had to do a forfeit - 50 push ups

And guess what?

Kobe and I lost. No excuses for that =(

We will have our rematch soon! Watch out Kevin and Weicai!!!

Our First Month

Baby was super sweet! She made this 1st month present for me, with the pictures that we have taken before. And baby was telling me about her visit to the photo printing store, where the store assistant kept coo-ing about how sweet the pictures were! =)

Thank you Baby for all the effort you've put into this gift, i know u took very long to fold the cranes right? (considering that you have totally clumsy fingers) hehe =P
Really appreciate the thought and effort that went into this present, it's a real memorable 1st month present!

We slacked at home till about 2.30pm, before heading out to Queensway (i had to give tuition at Anchorage Condominium), while poor baby had to wait 1.5hours for me. Baby was supposed to meet her friend Shirli at Macdonald's, while i go for tuition. Reluctantly, i left her there and went on my way. That day, 1.5hrs seemed to crawl by the slowest! Finally it was 4.30pm! (tuition started at 3pm) And its time to meet Baby at Anchor Point! Alas, she wasn't there! =( She was with her friend Shirli at Bukit Merah Polyclinic at 4.30pm!!! I felt damn pissed off, i dunno why.

No wait....i know why.

I was pissed off coz Baby knew she wouldn't make it back in time to meet me at 4.30pm yet she still went to accompany her friend to the polyclinic. The fact that it was our first month anniversary only made me madder, coz we already had plans to go have a nice meal Central - Clark Quay. And there at 4.30pm, Baby was at BUKIT MERAH POLYCLINIC! Needless to say, i quarreled with her when she came back to Queensway (duh...i was waiting with a "black" face). We practically didn't talk all the way on the bus to Clark Quay, and that made me angrier!
Somehow, we managed to start talking...and yeah... you guessed it...we kissed and made up =)

And we walked happily together into Waruku Japanese Restaurant...hehe...Extreme Elation!

And we cam-whored a little before our food arrived! Here's some pictures below! =)

Met Tommy and Jasmine who were already at Hougang Interchange and we took a bus down to the court near Kobe's house. They were already playing when we reached! But we were late la, can't blame them for not waiting =)

JB Trip

Took quite a few pictures with baby

but apparently, my face "cui" coz i

had two big pimples so...this is the

only "OKAY" picture that is taken =)

We were totally famished when we reached City Square

and we decided to have our lunch in this Chinese restaurant.

My Favourite TOFU! =)

Okay la...2nd favourite.

Cos nothing beats HOTPLATE TOFU!

Imagine the TOFU sizzling on the hotplate

covered in yummy egg gravy! *slurps*

HEAVENLY!

Okay...I know I'm exaggerating.

But its really that damn nice!

Hmm...I did not used to eat vegetables when i was younger.

Totally dislike the "raw" taste that some vegetables have.

Only consuming heavily spiced vegetables - Kang Kong Belachan

But in recent years (2 years ago?), I started to develop a

liking for more vegetables. Vegetables like Xiao Bai Cai

Spinach, and Kai Lan (picture below).

And YES even BROCCOLI!

P.S: Niam, i guess Broccoli aint that bad afterall =)

But Cauliflower is still a NO-NO.

We went to catch a Movie after our hearty meal.

Movie tickets in JB are really super cheap. With

the student card, You can actually get your tickets for

ONLY RM$6!

So we chose to watch this.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH

This Movie aint even in Singapore theatres yet!

And it was a great movie! Be sure to catch this

when it previews in Singapore, or if you can spare

the time, head down to JB for the latest movies =)

I remember this advert promoting Malaysian

tourism and it has a song that goes:

"MALAYSIA - Truly Asia"

hahaha...ok...dun get me wrong. i'm not

advocating that Malaysia Rocks. =)

Just sharing with people that the movies are cheap.

So head down at your own risk if you aren't afraid

of getting robbed by some Malaysian delinquent

threatening to POKE you with an HIV infected needle

Or plummet your fragile Singaporean head with a HAMMER.

Besides the movies, there's cheap shopping in Malaysia now

But we didn't really shop much

Just a pair of shoes and a top.

Baby bought a pair of sandals too.

And we headed home happily =)

Kiehls' Ngee Ann City Opening

Last Thursday, i met up with Baby and the Kiehls' guys to visit the newly
opened Kiehls' outlet at Ngee Ann City. Heard from William that Zling wanted
us to be at the new store to take polaroids pictures of ourselves with the
various Kiehls' products. I was damn hesitant to take a picture that day
la! Coz i had two big pimples on my face! =( which was so darn obvious!

Nevertheless, i was "coerced" into taking a polaroid after much persuasion
from Zling, and her assurance that the pimples will not show in the picture!

=)

Yeap...this is the new Kiehls' Store at Ngee Ann City

Just directly opposite Ted Baker.

And this is what we usually do best - Camwhore!!!

Oh and not forgetting Zling's little treat

Japanese Mochi Ice Cream!

Enough of playing pranks on you already

Here's what i wanna say for a long long time.

Time spent with you always seem to fly by in a twinkle of an eye, yet the moments are always so overwhelmingly joyful and fun! The endless laughter (not referring to your retarded way of laughing), the long talks we have, the never-ending jokes we share, and also not forgetting the bitchy gossips we have about our friends. I really hope that such times will withstand the test of time, and help us to grow stronger together, and I'm looking forward to our lives ahead.

We did not have a fairytale beginning to start with, and i don't expect a fairytale ending. All i can promise you would be my utmost effort placed in our relationship, to be there for you when you are feeling down, to share your joy when you are happy. I know at times you feel insecure being with me, but i do hope you can give me a chance to redeem myself.

So much has happened recently and soon, school is gonna start for you and i. No doubt, we'll have lesser time for each other, but surely, this aint gonna set us back right? We'll just have to manage our time more appropriately, that's all. =) Anyway, "absence makes the heart fonder", isn't it?

Badminton Day

Went to meet up with William, Kevin and Kobe, and of course, with Baby for Badminton near Kobe's house!

Some of the pictures with William though...only got a couple from my phone, which is like only Baby's and mine. =)

Badminton was tiring, but fun.

The last time i played was actually in secondary 4.

That's like almost 6 years ago!

Gosh...time flies and i hate to admit it...

We played with BEBE for awhile, had a few rounds of card games before leaving.

Went to Baby's place for supper, 85 market, Bedok.

Damn...the Bak Chok Mee was closed by the time we reached! =(

But nvm, we made do with

Carrot cake, hokkien mee and satay!
